Although we're not a family coming back. This post touched me and made me really sad. We do hope this community will recover. That families divided will be friends again. Such a tough time for all families. I do hope there will be calmness in both staying and leaving families. This is a loving community, it just needs to find its way back there.

Why do you sound happy that the school is in the so called red. St. Bruno will in fact recover as long as past parents and teachers don't interfere with that process. Give our remaining children a chance. Your family has moved on and mine is remaining. It's too bad that you will not let go and let our community recover. We are the new St. Bruno School Community and we want the best for our children, as you do yours. How bout respecting us and placing our children before your selfish feelings. Let our school recover. You can build a wonderful future for your children at your new school. We just want to build a new and refreshed future for St. Bruno. I hope anyone in the fence takes the chance and joins our efforts. Come on positive patents, help us get rid of the negative and build toward positive. Some parents like my family have just spoke out, please leave us alone and give our children a chance. We pray for your children daily. I want to end this by pleading to the hurtful parents out there to let current St. Bruno Family recover from such hurtful times. God Bless America and God Bless Us All!

How can a parent respect or want their child to continue to be around a principal who TOLD her staff not to tell anyone if they saw a certain person around campus? Why would any responsible parent find that ok? What else is being hidden and kept secret? The teachers and staff leaving will be so much happier not having the pressure of all that baggage! I can't wait for them to start their wonderful journey of getting back to classrooms full of respect and caring people!
Those same parents must have thought is was "ok" enough to keep bringing their children back to this perceived dangerous school every day for the next 8 months. We have been down this road before. Any responsible parent who really thought it was a truly dangerous situation would have moved their children immediately. I guess things weren't that bad. Just bad enough for ignorant people to keep talking about it and talking about it even after the judge made his ruling on this case.
I can also assure you that this group of teachers will not be happier in their journey at their new "classrooms". They are going to figure out very quickly that their unprofessional, riot inciting behavior will not be tolerated anywhere. The good old days of running a principle out every 2 years won't work anymore. We wish them the best none the less.

The question is: why do you even care if we are in the red, who will be working bingo and everything else that will happen at St. Bruno? You don't belong here anymore and your kids will be at another school. So please tell me why this is any of your concern now? If you made such a grand choice, you wouldn't be here defending your decision.
This is the future we knowingly chose and will continue to support. Our future and our community. Not yours.
Wow!!! Since when is it your community? Since when us it your school? I'm a parishioner at St Bruno and part of the community and am disgusted with your remarks. This school is part of the parish. If someone is walking away with Bingo money, we all need to know about it; if the school is not running properly, we all need to know about it. Who the heck do you think you are to tell us it's none of our concern!! I was feeling for the parents who are sticking it out but now I see what's going on! You need a reality check; it's not your school and its not your community!!!!!! It's all if ours or is that not being practiced any longer????

God Bless America? God Bless Us? I pray for your children everynight? Are you serious? You are a hoot! I think it's so funny how you "supporters" , how many are there? About 5 of you? Umm K, why did you guys so cowardly wait to show your support after school was over? Didn't have the guts to stand up for your leader during the thick of it? Didn't have the balls to say anything then right? Schools over so did you all 5 meet in a booth at Panera bread and decide to show your support on this blog? Lol! Too funny. Way too late for that honey. St. Bruno's school failed and will continue to fail. And you and your 5 supporters sat back and did nothing about it. So no need to get all crazy now on this blog with your "I will pray for you crap". I don't need your prayers. We're fine. Remember, my family isn't enrolled in a failing school with three nut jobs as its leaders. You on the other hand are. So I will pray for you.

Standing on the sideline watching the ship go down. 90 kids registered is clearly a sign of bad administration and mismanagement of their social skills. The parents that continue to support better be prepared for locks on the doors and security gates come September. Your mandatory hours next year will be janitorial. Not enough funds for that.

Who do I think I am? Will your child be going to St. Bruno? Mine will. I've made the choice to stay and respect our school, the new administration and our pastor. This school community does NOT belong to those who wish the school to fail, bash our pastor, make cruel postings about parents and families. I am friends with some parents and parishioners who have left but who have had the dignity and self respect not to behave in the disrespectful and selfish manner that most of these parents have displayed. I don't give a hoot if you are a parishioner or not. Actions speak louder than words. Now that the parents who are staying have had to common decency to WAIT until the school year was over to state their views and opinions, they are being admonished by the same people who have been bashing it for the last seven hellish months. Who do you think you are?

Why are you so violent with your words? I'm not bitter... I don't know where you got that from. All I said was this blog is to vent and obviously you are doing that "now". Good for you that this is the kind of environment you want for your young kids at. But you are a Christian person and so am I, calling people tortured souls and bitter is not very Christian like... I think you're the one holding to hatred and anger... Your posts are pretty aggressive. Amazing what sets you off.

Glad to see this behavior is normal for you.
Actually the grass is greener on the other side!!!

We are all very happy to have a school that will be a peaceful learning environment for our children next year, as should you be...in your new school of course. I think that all the parents that are hanging on to all this hatered and anger are the ones who need prayer. I am perfectly fine thank you!

Amazing. It really is simple people. Support the school or move on. You can't have both. And Opened my eyes, it's amusing how this posting really struck a chord with you. How can it be that you are disgusted by a person who is defending the school but nothing else on this blog disgusts you?

Your post is all over the place!!!! So many stupid (I don't like to use that word but it really fits here) remarks that it would be too time consuming to respond, and I don't think you'd get it anyway! Bottom line, the school is part of the parish and community; it's not "your" school! And not everyone agrees with what has happened to the school and how children and families have been treated. Hopefully it won't happen to you.

Parents step back a minute. As I read through this blog I realized that at least one of the Parents that claims they're staying is not actually a parent. It's actually one of the principals friends. He is not aware of a particular writing habit he has. He posted on the last blog and was actually at the first meeting in November and also made comments on facebook. He's trying to make it look like there are lot's of parents in support. In addition, I have left the school but still have friends there. I still attend church at the school and volunteer. When father gives the school 50K....we ALL have interest in the school. When we give money towards financial aid to the archdiocese...we ALL have interest in the school. Since I am contributing towards tuition for children to attend the school I want to make sure my money is going to a good family at a reputable school. I do hope that the school can return to it's prior status but I don't think that can be done with the current administration.

Amen to those of us who are staying and defending OUR community. As far as those families who have left, please leave us alone and be a positive part of your new community and stop trying to intimidate us for FINALLY speaking out. It really does not matter when we are speaking out, it is that we finally are for the sake of our children. I believe there are way more families then 5 who are in support of our pastor and principals. Your fear is warranted, the devil has veered his ugly head for far too long. Keep the faith current families and keep the devil away. Amen to everyone who has showed support and please keep it up. God Bless!

Really? Stupid remarks? All over the place? I couldn't have been more direct and to the point. What has happened is in the past and that cannot be changed. Those of us that have decided to stay have worked hard to put that behind us and move forward. Not sure if you we're asked to leave or left on your own but the fact is, you are no longer there. Thank goodness for that. And the fact that you are on this blog supporting all the negative banter makes it obvious that you can't let go. Go support the school your children will be going to. I bet if you put half of the energy into your new school that you have displayed here, it will be a huge success.
