Stalker case leads to lawsuit against St. Bruno, principal and archdiocese

Feb 22, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Whittier Daily News

The stalker of the principal of St. Bruno School made reservations for a wedding at the parish, with an extravagant Hawaiian style lei and a photographer in an attempt to lure the principal into a fake ceremony, according to a lawsuit filed against the school, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the school principal.

Omg!!! Funny that you assume my family wasn't affected by this. We were! But sticking around and being dragged continuously through this craziness is nonsense. It was easy to leave because great teachers are leaving. PERIOD! So don't be all righteous. You really need to get a hold of yourself before you go crazy!

Have fun moving on!

I'm not going crazy but thanks for your concern. The problems are not over because we leave. There will be people without jobs that still have mortgages and families to feed. Kids are still crying and families are still affected from the ugliness that was brought upon them. These people will need our continuous prayers......

What a farce!! Catherine and Father are still walking around like nothing is happening when they have destroyed a Beautiful School and Community. Teachers who have been welcomed back have chosen to leave, 1st one being 2nd grade. Who's Next???

The school is not only falling apart do to the departure of staff and children the building is now suffering. Classrooms without air condition, broken windows, desks, and a faulty intercom system. These item need to be repaired I hope the church has a few more hundred thousand to assist the principal and vice principal. The children will be nice and cooked in September. Remember to send the children to school hydrated

Have to believe everything comes full circle. The people responsible for this mess will lose in the end. It is just sad to see the children again being the victims of stupid decisions and adults covering up! Wishing all who have left good luck and keep up the fight, all for your children!

Obviously, you have no idea what it is like to belong to a strong and close community. Anyone who has belonged to the Bruno's community cares about the Parish, families, teachers and the long lasting relationships they've built over the many years. Sounds like YOU have nothing better to do because you have NO friends. How sad for you.....

I've never seen a bigger bunch of whiney, crybaby parents in my life! If you don't like what's happening at St. Bruno's, GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL! Do you people have nothing better to do than visit a meaningless blog to bitch and moan about the school's principal? You're just a bunch of chubby housewives pushing 50 years old and it's killing you that the principal at this Catholic elementary school is better looking and in better shape than you are. You're all a bunch of haters and you need to get a life. If you spent as much time in the gym as you do trolling this stupid blog, maybe you're husbands would pay more attention to you.

I want to thank all of you who have expressed your feelings about the disaster that is St Bruno's . Now that I am leaving I want you to know that the things most of you have written are all true as regards the deception, harassment and vindictiveness. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, no one in authority would listen. So we did indeed derive some comfort that we were not alone. The majority of the staff are broken hearted and , in some ways, still in disbelief that that this could happen to a once wonderful school and community. We really LOVED our students,( your kids) and would have done anything to spare them this experience. So thank you for your courage and I do sincerely hope that better things will one day come to the school.
I also thank all the teachers and wish them great happiness in their new jobs.

Our family is friends with the Dove family and I think your comment is unfair to Mary's accurate post. While our family is leaving Saint Bruno, I respect some of the families that are staying and working to make the best of it. Many are not blind to the destruction of the community and are doing what they can in support of their kids.
Maybe she should just go back to Cilantros and order another bean burrito. It doesn't matter how much she begs
For cilantros to help at the carnival. They are far to vested with the parents that are leaving. You must not respect the families enough to help them. Move on, I don't think anyone needs your help.

Well there your have it...someone on the inside is finally verifying what we "overreacting" parents have been saying all along. Deciding to stay or leave is a very personal decision...however those who have decided to stay...can you honestly think that what has happened to SB is really acceptable....how could you stand by and witness "our" community members be targeted by a stranger for voicing their concerns. Some people were truly blinded by the deception and acted in their self interest. Just because it "was not your fight" does not mean that you shouldn't speak up when you see injustices committed to members of our community. We all know right from wrong...good and evil when we see it. I simply do not understand how some people could have simply stood by, let this happen, and remain silent. Tomorrow marks a new begining for many of us....may our journey be filled with love, happiness, and unlimited succes for our children.....those who are staying...good luck...unfortunately I think you are all in for a surprise come next fall. Dont tolerate anything less than the best...your children and your familes deserve better...

All parents should listen to you. You lived the nightmare. Two parents that are local catholic high school principals have pulled their children too. I can't believe parents are risking their children future by keeping their children at Bruno
