There comes a time when we must put a stop to this type of thing! Come on folks these people make an excellent salary with best of the best benefits, some even include plastic surgery! How about insurance for my pet Fido? I heard that is what they asked for in their previous contract! Yes, they make $80,000+ annually, get 24 paid holidays per year (I can't even find that many on the calendar), and 20+ vacation days too...let's not mention that most are untrained, not educated and would not find a decent job in this market! Maybe the salty air has warped their thinking! LOL!

If the taxpayers are stupid enough to elect 100% union owned politicians then the taxpayers deserve every disasterous out come that is killing our State.

The reason unions are so out of whack in our State is because WE are the most pathetic citizen/voter/parents in America.

OMG - Sounds as if all of you are jealous. The facts are not out yet but most of you know the unions are wrong?? They're overpaid? They're greedy? Unless you're in the industry, working for one of the employers, how do you know?
Outsourcing of jobs? Have any of you called your credit card company or tried to pay any type of bill and you can't understand what the hell the person is saying due to their accent? I have, and I've asked the person on the other end of the phone what country they were in and they would NOT give an answer after I asked politely 3 times. Pretty soon all of our jobs will be gone, and I think it's great that there are unions fighting for what they believe is right. Keeping the jobs in the US. I wish all would do the same. Companies make us fear we are going to lose our jobs so we accept whatever bullshit they throw at us.
NO, I am not an OCU worker, but I am anxiously awaiting the evidense of the following statement.

"Fageaux said the union has copies of numerous emails that prove the contract is being violated."

I work in the industry and know first hand how these companies run. Until then, unless you are "the employer", how do any of you know the truth? It's ignorant to say they make too much money. Are you saying what you do is NOT worth $40.00 an hour? If your manager called you in to offer you $40.00 an hour you'd turn it down because it's greedy?
Employers will give as little pay as possible, and guess what; the top dogs get bonuses for that!
These companies are multi-million/billion dollar companies, some owned by AIG! And we all know who AIG is....

Truckers, independent operators, have issue with slow moving union employees too..

Truckers get paid by the volume, per load...

And some union workers don't seem to care...take money from your pocket by moving so slow...
