Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Plan picks new general manager

Ray Joseph was hired Thursday as general manager of the Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension Plan in a 5-4 vote by the board in closed session, said Tom Lopez, chief investment officer for the $15.7 billion plan.
How much of this $15,ooo,ooo,ooo is FUNDED? And, how much UNFUNDED was promised by politicians in return for campaign support?
