Does anybody else use AerioConnect for their ISP?

So I live in Los Angeles, at an apartment complex called Skyline Terrace. At many apartment complexes, including Skyline Terrace, the only ISP offered is a company called AerioConnect. When I say "only", I mean ONLY. If you want internet or cable television, the only way to get it is to go through AerioConnect. And they are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Product and service alike, they have to be the worst ISP I have ever dealt with.

When I Google AerioConnect however, I don't find anybody really bashing them. I was just wondering if there is anybody else out there that has to live with the fact that they moved into a complex that only supports AerioConnect, and how they feel about their services. Start a boycott maybe?

I to made the mistake of getting internet via AerioConnect. We left The Medici Apartments on May 9th 2008. Now it's Augest 29th and again this month my credit card, which BTW is the only way you can get service, has been charged. I have sent emails, and have been told, it will be taken care of. I've tried to call but can never get though to billing. Once I called sales and explained my problem and was assured someone would be in touch with me. Of course that NEVER happened. So now once again I'm home waiting for them to call me and I'm sure that will not happen anytime soon.

Hmmm.... My experience has been completely different. Been using them for years and have had good service.

The Better Business Bureau says it all... From A+ to F, they got an "F"

Here is my review of Aerioconnect posted on yelp (I had the same experience as becca where Aerioconnect continued to charge me even after I moved out):
Aerioconnect is one of the worst businesses around. Take a look at their BBB rating. Yep, it's the worst rating you can get - F (see below for explanation from BBB. One of their policies is requiring written notice prior to your next billing date to cancel the service. So, even if you call them and tell them you would like to cancel, and even if they tell you that your service has been cancelled, they will continue to bill you after you move out if you do not actually send them a letter to cancel service. Worst of all, they will do this even if another tenant moves into your apartment and also pays them for the same service. Yep, these guys are so shady that they will DOUBLE BILL for the same services to the same apartment. They do this knowing that the double billed amount will be too low to sue them over, even in small claims court. Also, see reviews on buildings Aerioconnect services, and you will see that Aerioconnect is one of the main complaints about those properties by tenants, e.g., The Visconti.

We strongly question the company's reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law's licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company's industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

I am currently using Aerioconnect in Calabasas and for a few years thought I had T1 which is what I asked for when placing the order. Recently I found out I only had DSL at $140.00 per month which gives me 1.5M/768k. When I found out it was only DSL I requested pricing. Aerioconnect replied by quoting me a price of 3M/768k for $80.00 per month. Wow faster DSL for less? Think they have been over charging me all this time. I do not recommend them.

I just signed up with Aerioconnect. The sales people are not friendly and/or helpful. I just moved into an apartment in DTLA and aerioconnect is my ONLY choice!! I requested high speed internet and the snarky sales person stated 10mbps would be fast. I agreed to try this speed, I was thinking the internet was running extremely slow, and did a speed test and am not even getting 1mbps.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I need high speed internet and not able to get it through Aerioconnect!! Will definitely complain to the BBB. HELP!

I was searching for Aerioconnect's phone number to upgrade my internet speed and came across this thread ..... I have had their service for over 2 years now in an apartment in downtown LA, they were great, no speed issue nor any downtime at all compare to Timewarner ( which i had for 3 month before i change to aerioconnect !).
I have recommended Aerioconnect to many of my friends and co-workers live around DTLA and all of them are very happy with their service and support. Anyhow, just want to give a fair review on a good company.
