While I understand the need for additional revenue, South Pasadena's parking enforcement has grown increasingly ridiculous. After receiving a "no front license" parking ticket, I went to the station to pay the fine and have my vehicle inspected. They charged another 25 dollars on top of the 75 dollar fine to step outside and look to see that I had my plate. As a result, I have stopped patronizing South Pasadena's businesses. I have a feeling I'm not alone.

Councilman Michael Cacciotti expressed his discontent at the state putting its hands into the city's coffers.

"They just find another way to take our money," he said.

Same goes for the residents in South Pasadena. The city puts their hands in the resident's coffers.

JBS and bud you have forgotten that its not your car and not your road. Your money goes towards the maintenance of the road but its a privilege to drive on it. Your car must be registered, you must be licensed. You pay for your car's repairs but if you don't obey a few rules your car could be seized. communized road system is all it is. Public property you say? That's a contradiction in terms.

Lesson learned, you had better not goof off in So Pasadena, them cops and meter maids will get you. No front license plate is a serious offense there, and you have to pay.
