You must of graduated from there. Are you ready to lose? Its amazing that finally the glory swordsmen have a bad rep now. Thank your coaches for rubbing your presious name thru the mud and allowing this to happen. You might have talked down on alot of other schools but at least they have pride and respect for their team mates regardless if they are high or low classman. They may have lost many times against you but right now as Im typing this, just remember they are walking up with their heads high with no bad rep, it does not matter if you win or lose, its what you put into the game, and many schools that you played against played with all their hard work and effort. How does it feel when the jokes on you? Ha Ha Ha, so glad we didnt choose that school.

Lady, St. Paul IS WAY better than Garfield High School, the baby factory of ELA. It is a well known fact that the Garfield girls are loose and many end up pregnant. Academically, Garfield is about 100 slots lower than mighty St. Paul, even with all its problems. I think you made a huge mistake, especially if your son was going to St. Paul on scholarship. But I'm sure you did what you thought was best for your son. Good luck.

"Bring back Lori"? Do you mean embezzler Lori Barr? No I don't think so. St. Paul is doing just fine without her unprofessional, dismissive attitude. I'm a St. Paul parent and she is the worst thing that ever happened to our school.
St. Paul students and faculty are trying their upmost to rise above this incendiary and inflated circus that the tabloid-like media has chosen to spin. The (football) community needs to inspire these kids, not try to bring them down.
As far as you haters out there, St. Paul is here to stay so don't be jealous!
You are one of those St. Paul parents who give all other parents a bad name. There is no proof or evidence that Lori embezzled a SINGLE PENNY. If she did, it would be a crime and she would be in jail. Your mind is in the gutter and I will pray for you. Lori fought with heart and soul to make the school better. Sad that she is being treated like a PINATA now by all the unhappy disgruntled bitter St. Paul parents.

One more thing. Yeah she was fired. Thats how the Catholic Church handles cases where they fire someone. She wasn't fired at the school itself. She was allowed to go to the school and pick up her personal belongings and yes with escorts. her work computer was not confiscated. This is a fact. Trust me. There was inappropriate handling of money. But again, no persoanl gain was made. It was how the money was spent at the school itself. I do know her and I'm not family. I do know that eventually hearing the sorry people of St. Paul come in and whine about why they didn't pay tuition while the school couldn't pay its bills got old and probably led to the door closing to them. And again trust me, you would puke if you knew how much money is not being paid by the families of the students there. I can honestly tell you you have no idea how much time she put in for that school. You may not agree with her methods or the way she did things, you are entitled to that, but don't even begin to tell me that she wasn't working almost 24/7 for that school. I know she did. Your new Principal will fail as well whwether you like her or not if the money doesn't start coming in. And I never said old man river Ancich was working for free but he is making half of what the coach is making at Amat. Half!
THE INSIDE STORY

No doubt, this was a terrible tragedy. But given the amount of “evidence” that was “presented”, Helen Keller could have prosecuted this case, and been successful.
In order to understand the “full story”, let’s examine the “FACTS”, shall we?
FACT: In her three years with St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, Lori turned around an inner-city school that was on the brink of extinction. She made it an academically competitive school, and she was well regarded by both the students and the parents. A true success story!
FACT: Father Pilato of the Archdiocese hand-picked Lori to lead the academic turnaround at St. Paul High School.
FACT: In order to “sweeten” the deal, Father Pilato “ok’d” the use of an Archdiocese credit card to supplement her base salary which was set by strict standards and not negotiable. In typical Archdiocese fashion, the “deal” was done on a “wink and a nod”, and was not formally recorded.
FACT: From the outset, Lori’s presence at St. Paul High School was unacceptable to the “establishment”(parents, alumni, etc.) within the school. She was considered an “outsider”.
FACT: There were no “checks and balances” in place for the various money generating activities at St. Paul High School (i.e., Bingo Night on every Saturday, all sports home games, etc.).
FACT: In the absence of “checks and balances”, Lori actually “fired” a coach because he was caught with his hand in the “till”(no criminal charges were filed, he was simply dismissed). This further infuriated the “establishment”, and Lori had to go.
Soon, calls were made to the Archdiocese to question charges that were being made by her on the credit card. Without a formal agreement in place regarding the credit card “deal” with Father Pilato, Lori had literally nowhere to go. It appeared that she had committed fraud against the Archdiocese.
According to the Whittier Police Department, the Archdiocese “conducted the investigation”, then simply handed the results to the Whittier Police Department who eventually filed the case with the Los Angeles County District Attorney. QUESTION: Since when does the victim of a crime (The Archdiocese in this case) conduct its own investigation? Isn’t that the job of local law enforcement?
The rest was easy. Father Pilato, in an effort to preserve his career simply denied ever having an “agreement”(in open court) with Lori, while the prosecution had a “mountain” of credit card statements with which to accuse Lori of fraud.
Father Pilato took a gamble in hopes that Lori would “clean-up” the dirty little financial dealings that were being perpetrated by the “vile sub-culture” that ran St. Paul High School. But, the wretched “establishment” wouldn’t allow it, they conceived a “hatchet job”, and used the Archdiocese to execute it.
To insulate himself even more from his inept management of the situation, Father Pilato actually selected Lori for a promotion to the administrative ranks of the Archdiocese, knowing full-well that she was going to be forced out.
Even after the Archdiocese was fully reimbursed for the money that was spent on the credit card, they continued to pursue the case, and have the Whittier Police Department present it to the District Attorney. This had to be done in order to have Father Pilato further distance himself from any thought of the possibility of their having been an “agreement” between him and Lori.
There was no crime here. Father Pilato made a bad decision that he should have been disciplined for by the Archdiocese following a proper internal investigation. Instead, he threw Lori under the bus with the help of the “rabid” sub-culture of St. Paul High School in order to save his career. As she stated in court, Lori will have to live with this for the rest of her life, however, the bigger stain is on St. Paul High School. No organization can survive with the type of vile sub-culture that has entrenched itself into the very fabric of that school.

Look "Inside Story", you can try to blame the victims all you want, but its not changing the "facts". Lori Barr is a thief plain and simple. Try to blame the school, the diocese, and hell, reading what you wrote, Im sure your blaming the kids at this point.
I can only assume you are related, or benefited from her theft in some way. So sorry the St. Paul Gravy Train derailed. It was the BEST MOST TALKED ABOUT day, the day that they fired her and walked her off the campus. And for those who say they didnt, your liars! Plenty of us saw it.

Well by that definition I guess Lori Barr is also loose considering she got knocked up by a star Notre Dame running back.
