Ex accused me of Harassme

My ex is in New Mexico, stationed in the military. I'm in NY. This guys started texting me, saying he slept with her in April, we broke up in may. she's also cheating on her husband (That she's only known for 3 full months). I Facebook messaged her, calling her a whore, then I told her husband. I was polite to her husband cus he had done nothing wrong. They both messaged me back, I sent one last short, "sweet" message to my ex, then I told them both I was blocking them and I never want to speak with them again. Also my ex STILL has my things, after almost 9 months being split up.

3 days after I blocked them, a police officer (I verified it with the police station) called me and told me she was filing a complaint for harassment. I am so sick of my ex being part of my life, and now she's still forcing her way to ruin my life. How can I fight this, or get her for wrongfully accusing me of harassment

I am a 51 year old RN who has worked in the same clinic for 20 years. I am 2 years away from retirement. Because of down-sizing, I have been forced into a stressful middle management position for which I feel unsuited but must take in order to keep my job. Last week, I had to counsel an employee who refused to do the work I assigned to her and became beligerant and disrespectful. I wrote it up and made her sign it. I then had her conference with upper management to discuss her behavior. It was then that she accused, "I'm afraid of her. She touched me inappropriately a while back." Her allegations are untrue and an investigation will reveal nothing in my background. I am A WOMAN! A straight woman and a loyal wife and mother. I tried to convince upper management that she was lying but they said they take these allegations seriously. I consulted a lawyer who said I have no rights to keep my job in a case like this since I am her supervisor. I will lose everything I've worked all these years for. This will be the last thing I write. After this, I am going to end it all. There is no point in living in this unjust world. May God have mercy on my soul. Good-bye.

Well, I'm back. Haven't made any rash decisions yet but death does seem like the only way out of this horrible sentence. I have spinal arthritis and can't work in a hospital anymore. I'm old and fragile. THis desk job was all I had. I do feel suicidal as anyone would who is going through such a terrible thing. I have to say that this employee had a lot of power and HR supported her. Not me. To have this come at the end of my life when I was looking forward to retiring is the cruelest joke that could be played on any human being. I am alone and have no one to turn to. If God is listening, I wish HE would answer because there are no people on my side and I've done NOTHING wrong. I've spent all my life helping
people, working hard and TRYING to do good! Why

I had a romantic relationship with my boss for 8 moth we stop this relationship.everytime we have an argument she shuts me up by saying ( do you want to go home? Or you want to get fired ). My boss said if this were to get out she would cause me of sexual harassment. So I took it up to H.R and my bosses boss now there conducting an investigation. The only thing I had connecting us was a cell phone under her name that I had for 8 month but she disconnected. The key to her house that she wouldn't take back and I gave to H.R in our meeting. In this meaning said I felt uncomfortable so I'm on paid leave should I be worried to of getting fired or worse. Plus my boss has been accused of sleeping with 2 employes she has had 1 investigation dor the samething but no evidence so it was dismiss. now My investigation Advise anyone

I have not been accused of sexual harassment (knock on wood), but I want to relate a story from a few years ago.

I worked on a small office-based team.

The team was newly formed at the time (about 3 or 4 months old) and at that point had three people on the team. A 25/26 year old woman, and two men in their thirties (including me).

A new person joined our team. A young man of about 24. He had a learning disability and was a bit slow on the training. The woman got impatient with this (she imagined her self the 'team leader' even though there was no such appointment).

She asked me one day to watch as the new employee interacted with her. She was convinced that he was sexually harassing her and wanted me to confirm. She wanted both of us to report it to the manager afterwards.

So I observed as the young man walked over to her desk to show her a paper, to lean over her desk to point to and reference something on her screen (database). All very normal movements that are observed hundreds of thousands of times every day in offices all over the country.

He went back to his seat and she turned to me anxiously and expected me to confirm her delusions. I told her that I did not see anything sexual in the young man's movements, much less anything like harassment in any form. She looked disappointed and a bit embarrassed. She didn't bring it up again.

I was personally a little perturbed that she could so easily call something like that "sexual harassment" when it clearly was not. I was also bothered that she choose to try to recruit me in "Operation Backstab the New Employee."

I left it alone, because I did not know how to handle this. I felt like I should have reported this to my manager, but I didn't know the protocol, nor the appropriateness of it. I didn't know if it would blow back in my face for my attempt at keeping things ethical.

What should I have done? It's bothered me for a long time.

I've since heard that she's been accusing other males in that workplace, and on different teams of sexual harassment, although apparently, not reporting it to management (maybe she did sometimes, who knows). I don't work there anymore, thank God.

So, I had this employee that worked for me. I was nothing but nice to her. I let her go due to using company email for applying jobs, talking about fellow co workers, etc. There was nothing sexual ever except an email she emailed a co worker making up a comment I supposedly said to a client. She left messages on my company cell phone saying she was going to sue me, etc. 6 months later, she filed sexual harassment charges. Not one comment was sexual in nature towards her. She made things up that I would sit at my desk and look at porn, touch myself and that isnt the case. This has caused me to be worried as I have worked with a majority of women for over 20 years with not one complaint about me. Now, I have to go through this for years and our attorney said there is nothing I can do but go through the process. Is there any rights I have.

So i met this girl online and we started to text. there was a mass send where you picked numbers one through thirty. she picked dirty ones as did. and according to sexual harassment laws it is only sexual harassment if i make sexual advance or bring sexual conversation up with out given permission. yet she says she is going to charge me with sexual harassment because i got into a different relationship with another woman. so is this justifying me being a "sexual harasser" or her trying to get back at me for finding somebody else?

guys need help. does an intentional portrayal of 'objectional objects'(eg. breasts) at workplace with a dirty objective, constitute sexual harassment? I am asking this because, for instance, if a man would have done this, it is surely sexual harassment as per the law. So would a similar complaint against a woman hold good at law? if not, why? is there any remedy for the employer? thanx.

I was harrassed for a few months at my new job. I finally went to my supervisor when my probationary period was over. My supervisor allowed the harassment to continue. I filed a complaint with HR, they acknowledged the complaint after their investigation. The harrassment did not stop. I continued to work for the same employer in order to fulfill my contract of one year in order to get a bonus. I have met my one year obligation.
My supervisor tapped me on the shoulder to tell me I am not allowed to talk on the phone. Grant it, this is the hospital policy but more than half of the staff go to this specific section to increase their phone reception. I blew it, slammed my phone on the ground and told her this is my offical resignation.
Later on in the evening, I was picked up by the police. They gave me a no trespassing order for accusations of making threats 3 weeks ago that I was going to shoot up the place.
The next day, an ex coworker said a couple of nurses was in the lounge joking about me snowing up to the hospital and shooting up the place. Sometime after their joking one of the nurses called the police and filed a false report.
I was going to call the detectives but decided to share this information with my lawyer I obtained while filing the harassment wih HR. I am having a hard time dealing with the sress. I just heard an engine accelerating outside that sound like a police car. I turned off the lights and just had a real panif attack. I have not eaten well in the past two days. On my way to get some medical help.

<quoted text> We have one of those in my office. They flaunt their sexuality with the hope of attracting the right male so they can get promoted! The one we have wound up sleeping her way up to the head of the company, and then getting promoted over many other older and more experienced women. She is now making around 6 figures in a do nothing job! Not bad for a 20 year old ho with no college, who has boobs that are way bigger than her IQ.
Everbody creates fake positions for the office sluts. They serve a very practical service for the company. Trust me she does a lot of jobs: hand, blow, rim and others.

Office Manager: I feel you 100%. Years ago when I worked for the U.S. Postal Service, we had a female carrier who was 36-22-36 DD Cup (she told us her measurements!) to make a long story short, she took about 3 inches off of her uniform shorts, stopped wearing a bra, would tie her uniform shirt to a near mid-riff, and in so doing got preferential treatment from our carrier foreman and supervisor.
She would bring back mail when she was unauthorized to do so. She would go into overtime without telling management she couldn't finish the route on time, she was never reprimanded for alterating her uniform, I mean, the list was endless. After I left, I was told that she's now a supervisor. The woman was dumb as a box of rocks, but that's how she moved through the ranks!!!
