It doesn't look like Dwight is resigning with the Lakers. He's a head case, and we should be glad he doesn't resign. We should focus on getting a team player like Brook Lopez.

they should resign dwight.. but he's not a max player. His contract should be around the 8 to 10 million per season range.

We would sign DW12 to a max contract anyday in GSW.

and that would be the end of their progress. Dwight doesn't have a winners attitude. He has ability but there is no passion to win in him. Did you see the way he quite in that last game he played? And if he can't close the game out for you, he doesn't deserve a max contract. Shaq couldn't shoot free throws, but he dominated the entire game so it didn't matter as much. And as I recall, in cluth situations, Shaq made his free throws.. and there was never any doubt about his desire to win. Dwight should just go join the globetrotters and be happy.

I agree he is a flip-flopper but D'Antoni really never put Dwight and Pau in positions that played to their strengths and he also didn't care that it upset them. His main focus was Nash and Kobe and while you can hardly go wrong with making Kobe your #1 you shouldn't lean that heavily on one player when you have a great PF like Pau and the NBA's best big in Dwight. No other team in the league has the size and talent the Lakers do and D'Antoni didn't know what to do with it.

My opinion is, boot Mike D and bring in Shaw or Phil and we'll see Dwight flourish under their management.

He's a max player because the league and it's teams say he is. Remember, he came back super early from back surgery which is crazy and he played for a coach that only knows one way who can't utilize bigs.

If he resigns with LA and has a good off season we'll see a much better Dwight next season especially if D'Antoni is gone.

LOL I never liked the name, but it was a gimmick in 94 to attract the young when the franchise started. It was Zeke's final decision back then as he was our GM after he retired. More so the gimmicky logo until they brought in the claw. By today's standards the name is worn out. My suggestion would be bring back the original team name from the 40's (Huskies) or the name that we were suppose to have in 83 when we were to take over the Cavs. Call them the Towers. On the bottom of the list would be Tornadoes or Torpedos We are a city of very large sky scrappers. There are over 106 building being constructed currently as i may have mentioned to you before.

Are you out of your mind? The Cavs franchise started up in 1970 in Cleveland. Why WOULD CLE give up their name in '83 to a takeover? CLE didn't give up the Browns name. CLE teams names stay in CLE. Toronto Cavaliers? lmao

Only one name Ginobili. Parker does not have an injury, he is just playing coy, watch tomorrow he will be the fastest and the quickest on the flr again.
Any ways the Lakers with all the money they have no matter what they will be okay. Don't feel too very sorry for them, very sorry ,yes.

If Iam out of my mind. Perhaps you need to read and research.
During his ownership, attendance at Cavaliers games began to sharply fall due to the team's poor play and questionable moves. Stepien thought about renaming the team the "Ohio Cavaliers" and playing portions of its home schedule in nearby non-NBA cities such as Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Toronto to increase the fan base. He had also threatened to move the team to Toronto and rename them the Toronto Towers, but ultimately Stepien decided to sell the team to Cleveland businessmen George and Gordon Gund prior to the 198384 season for $20 million. During his tenure as Cavaliers owner, the Cavaliers went 66180, had five different coaches, and had losses of $15 million.[4]
