Chau is a waste. He has been a puppet of the unions since elected over a decade ago. He has accomplished nothing on the MUSD school board and has now conveniently moved across the freeway to run for higher office. This is all the people of the San Gabriel Valley need; a potential waste in Tom Calderon grabbing the 58th seat and Chau doing the same in MP. When will the voters learn. You get what you vote (pay for in Calderon's case) for.

Asians representing and also running Mtb would be a good thing, shame they could not do some gerrymandering to make this happen.

Inside this small neighborhood bar lies a well hidden secret. It's actually advertised on the outside of the building,

What happened to the Dal Rey?

Dal Rae .. Not sure of it's currenty status, been some time since I was there, but in the context of Mtb, it was a favorite place to be seen by Mtb power structure types and astute (sly) Armenian businessmen. One was a cigar chomping short new car dealer. Also, a great place for a guy like me to meet very well turned out fortyish Latinas.

So there is some cryptic code at the Venice Room. Been awhile since I was there, currently residing in Marina Del Rey, but keep up with my hometown and enjoy the usual eateries and other aspects of the town (fond memories).
