I can't believe the pathetic prep coverage of this newspaper. Why do I bother paying money for this rag. We have a state track meet and I see no results. None! A local Covina kid has a major 2 event sprint victory, the greatest in school history and the greatest of accomplishments of any local track athlete in recent times and the Star News is silent. Way to go , Way to support our local kids. Lets see what you reported Sunday, pro sports. Gee, can't we go anywhere and see these results? So you had some little small blurb. Big deal. You can't give the whole state meet results, event by event? What a waste of paper!

I agree. There are no results from the meet and I would like to know about it.

You mention Alexis Walker once in this whole article. She is one of the best in Southern California-better yet in all of California. She should have an whole article about herself. She is a dynamic athlete as well as a great student. You should really check her out.

Ditto. Ditto! Ditto!! Ditto!!!

She's the CIF-SS/Master Champion, and is probably the only athlete to compete for PHS -(a school with a long history of track & Field accomplishments) in the last 5 years at state level. I'm glad UCLA recognized the talent. She's a fine, inspiring athlete.
