Parking at old Pasadena and south Pasadena has always been inconvenient for many years. The cities council have successfully created extra tax money from paid parking business and illegal parking tickets, I guess is good for economy, right??? On the other hand, the traffic has been a complete nightmare during rush and off hour. Only 2 major street and 2 two way traffic smaller streets will let you travel to Old town or 210 freeway. You are squeezing all the traffic on these 4 local streets with heavy traffic lights. South Pasadena city council needs to focus on improving traffic flow by reducing some traffic lights or no left turn on certain smaller surface street during rush hour. For some reason, the 710 extension project makes a lot of sense now.
