Darren, Glad you weren't driving any faster too. My husband is a truck driver and stories like this just make me sick to my stomach. My condolences to this man's family...whoever he is.

Pray-tell, how does a trailer, pulled and led by a tractor, collide with vehicles???...

According to TV news reports, the trailer, traveling south, was rear-ended, causing it (and the tractor) to overturn on top of another vehicle traveling north, and then burst into flames.

It seems that taking six hours to clear the traffic from the area is a bit excessive. I wonder whether there is any pre existing plan to be followed in these situations. If no, why not? If yes, maybe time to redo it.
