Rawson school trailer park

After the war there was a severe housing shortage due to the boys returning to civilian life and because of the lack of housing construction during the war years. After the war Milwaukee County Housing Authority built a temporary trailer park towards rear of Rawson School where the athletic field was formerly - and according to maps is now - located. Anyone still around who lived there?

Later, in the early '50's, the County built what were called "Wingfoots" to replace the trailers where, according to South Milwaukee maps, there is now located a high school. Anyone still around who lived there?*(The Wingfoots were located east of 15th street to Rawson Park and south from Walnut Street to the bluff)
