Here we are trying to support and provide for our families and the county is taking from them. This act is nothing more than people abusing their authority they have been in trusted with. These taxes need to be repelled or the people reasonable for the waste remove. I vote for both.

Did you take the time to attend the County Commissioners Meeting? A little education goes a long way.

This is just the tip of the waste iceberg from the big list I could cut 60% out of the budget in one past.
Promote Travel and Tourism
Currituck County Rural Center
Access to the sound for Kayakers/canoes
Stocked Fishing Ponds
Human Resources

Planning and Community Development- this group is just unbelievable waste.
But, stealing from the working people of Currituck is what these socialist minded thief’s in the county government is all about.

The average American worker works 127 days of the year just to pay his taxes. That means that government owns 36 percent of the average American’s output which is more than feudal serfs owed the robber barons.

The constant need to upgrade to bigger toys and the latest gadgets is typical of the socialist minded people running our county government along with those incompetents entrusted with making collective decisions affecting everyone.

This won’t end well. This never ends well. There is no “within the system” way to rid ourselves of this vast deadly parasite, the UberGovernment of Currituck. The government used as a weapon, to steal in the name of taxes; so they can be siphon out the door by the controllers. Elected people are without the backbone, they do not protect our freedom. Nor are they Americans.

From talking to home owners of Currituck if you know people in the taxes office you can get your taxes lowered. If you don't the door will be slammed in your face.

The Currituck Kremlin continues to waste our hard-earned money while raising taxes. They care less about the hardships they impose on families. Go to the meeting and listen to one lie after another. These people need to be stopped if we want any hope of saving our quality of life.

Our property taxes are too high. But this is not couse by the assessments or reassessments scam. An annual reassessment only results in a penalty to taxpayers and a means to increase taxes for (some). Whether properties are assessed at full value or a portion, the reassessed is at the whim of the authority. The only need to raise taxes is for increased spending by the taxing authorities (They will always run to schools when discussing property taxes increases). This is a point that has been missed by a number of voters. The school or police scam.
Proposed to stop spending is always smartly rejected by the majority. They use the same cons (we will be in danger our children will suffer). While out front, a proposal serves the political purpose of making it appear that the commissioners are doing something to reduce taxes, but has no such effect. Only reduced spending will lower taxes. Reduced SPENDING. The world will not end and working families will keep what they earned for their families.

Currituck homeowner rate hike possible in a 2014, meaning yes the county thefts are going to rip us off. They hosed people over on the property value this year then jacked the tax rate. How the thefts will jack the property value to steal more from our families.
