Jordan Halliday has been 22 since early to mid August. Just thought I would mention that.

One of the best ways to show your support for BJ, Alex, and Jordan is to speak up for the animals imprisoned and killed in fur farms across the country for a needless luxury item. This is nothing short of hideous and unnecessary animal cruelty. Come join a protest in Park City on November 27, and in Morgan, UT this November 28 against the fur industry in the U.S. in general, and in Morgan specifically.

I am a Marine Lieutenant Colonel and this is not what I fought and fight for. Shame on the U.S. Government and the AETA....a thinly veiled attempt to trample constitutional rights. I will be sending a check off to their legal defense fund.

Fur farms and 'ranches' are nothing more than another cog in the wheel of legalized animal abuse. There are no laws protecting these animals, and convoluted and unjust laws protect their abusers and exploiters instead. The only contempt is on the part of those who abuse these animals. I praise Jordan for his courage, and I will think of him as I march this weekend to protest the inherent cruelty of the fur industry. Right on Jordan!

I can't believe the U.S. Attorney's office is wasting tax dollars to prosecute a man who simply made the choice to remain silent. Shame on them.

I feel I was misquoted. "There's no option, I guess. I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do. If I go to jail, I go to jail, but it's not a priority" should say "If there's no option, I guess. I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do. If I go to jail, I go to jail, but it's not a priority". One word can change the entire meaning of a sentence. Thanks.

Jordan Halliday is a HERO! This era of animal slaughter and abuse will go down in history as one of the most darkest and shameful eras of human behavior. Those who eat meat or animal products are supporting this holocaust silently and blindly.
Millions are behind your right to STAND UP for animals!

Jordan,

Mistake now corrected. Reviewing what was said in the video, I see that indeed you uttered the 'if' to start that quote. Thank you for the notice.

This man will never win the Purple Heart or Presidential Medal of Valor, but make no mistake. He is a true hero: selfless, courageous, righteous.

There is NO justification in breeding mink there are a huge number of fake fur which serve the purpose which is surely to keep warm.
My heart goes out to those who risk their freedom by releasing these animals.
They should not be permitted to be in captivity at all.

Our detached gov. officials took time to write and pass AETA - this ridiculous law which targets animal advocates as "terrorists" to protect their (government's) huge investments in every area of animal exploitation under the sun. The real terrorist are the owners of fur farms, the high placed "White Coats" who carry out legalized institutional animal abuse in research labs and the greedy CEOs of gigantic industrial animal production/transport and slaughter. Profiteers of helpless animals misery and brutal murder.

Jordan Halliday, BJ Viehl, & Alex Hall at the worst are agressively promoting a kind and sensible treatment to animals. Why the authorities have severed their constitutional rights and not instead pursued the fur farm overlords for felony cruelty violations evades common logic. I suspect the common 22nd century man will look upon the governments intervention this entire case with a certain distaste, if not outright revulsion.

Probably the only "terrorist" organization that has never killed anyone. If the FBI REALLY wants to find domestic terrorists they should take a trip to Washington, DC.

It's disgusting that innocent animals are treated worse than our worst criminals. They receive an unpardonable death sentence, 24-hour/day confinement in deplorable conditions ... just so women can wear fur coats. Despicable!

I'm glad to see the sentiment in these comments is exactly where it should be - on Jordan's side.
The Marine Lt. Colonel said it best, and boy does it ring true. The current Green Scare is chillingly growing in its circle of disdain for American's Constitutional rights, and the lines between police and military have been blurred.
Scary times in the 21st century indeed...

The Earth and Animal Liberation Front have hit all kinds of targets over the last 30 years. After all, we all impact the earth and animals in some way. For more on this type of domestic terrorism, a really good site is at furcommission.com/resource/pressSF.htm

Now who would you say is really causing terror - as well as torture and death?

Another outrage by the POLICE STATE this counry, the good ole USA has become mainly as a result of the Bush Administration and all of the intellectually challenged American citizens that gave Bush the right to TERRORIZE USA CITIZENS. Congratulations to the morons of Utah and the rest of the U.S. who willfully and instantly agreed with the many unconstitutional "laws" promulgated by Bush to KEEP THEM SAFE. What a joke these people are! The results of the POLICE STATE THEY HAVE CREATED, however, is all but funny.

What the Courts and the Fascistic U.S. government are failing to realize when they take out their big unlawful guns against small, INNOCENT people, is that they are MAKING MARTYRS AND HEROS OF THEM!!! Jordan, the SHAC members, ALL humans risking their lives and well being in order to protect and/or create animal rights ARE HEROS!

We, The People, must help these HEROS to the best of our ability in any way possible, by sending them whatever might help pass away the UNLAWFUL HOURS OF DETENTION: send books, money (through the prison), or anything that might brighten the days of these HEROS. They need to know that there are MILLIONS OF US who thank them, who consider them HEROS, and who want to help them in any way possible.
