Sorry, my keyboard had coke spilled on it. My grammar is not as atrocious as it appears.

I visited the house today. As a Proffessor of Criminal Justice, I no plans to stop there until I saw 2 hispanic boys (ironically, the same age as most of his victims). They allowed me to go in the backyard. The original shed is still there. The bedroom where the Torture board was has been cut out to made to look like a patio, but the creepy pasrt is the patio is shaped the same as the bedroom was shamed. The hallway where Corll was shot by Henley is exactly the same wall, original trim on the floor/wall. THAT was pretty freaky to see.
Wow.Im afraid I wouldnt be able to live there,I dont see how a person could NOT think about the atrocities that were committed there.
Especially if so little has changed.
Im sure Dean's father had a hard time unloading the place for quite a few years.
His family ended up being victims too to a certain degree.
if I recall correctly the shed behind the house is where he kept the plywood box he used to transport bodies in.

Do you know the people who live there? Or they just let you check it out?

I still think a more modern processing of Corll's Boat storage area is in order.
Especially now that more attention is being paid to the unidentified victims and possible victims.

Does anyone know if the Rasberry family lived nearby? If I'm not mistaken, they were next-door neighbors. Nancy went to Pasadena H.S. Thoughts?

My Mom lived on Dade at the time (she was about 8), she heard the shots... My Dad lived in the Heights (he was about 10 or 11). Pretty scary.

Meant to say that my Mom heard the shots (when Corll was shot). She lived like 2 blocks away on Dade St. That neighborhood went to shi*, I'm pretty sure whoever lives there has no clue as to what happened there. That neighborhood is ghetto and full of trash now. It is sad.

I know Rhonda, too, and she's a good woman. I helped talk her into going forth with writing her book when she was having doubts. Last time I talked to her, she was focusing most of her energy on something more positive (her son). I don't know if she finished her part of the book, but she had been working with a writer from a publisher. She's had a lot on her plate lately, so you armchair speculators should just back off and give her a little slack.

Ok, I guess I can officially put on my freaked-the-hell-out shirt on for the day. This goes far beyond creepy, and you couldn't pay me enough to tour the house, much less live in it. I feel contaminated just from reading about it. Gives me the scary shivers in a bad way.

I grew up real close and I now have lived down the street on Lamar for about 12 yrs. I knew it was on Lamar when I moved here and looked it up and I was sure they had no idea what had happened there.

May the house stand as man's inhumanity to man. We should do what we can about the pervs in this land.

Heterosexual serial masturbator/strangler - scarier than grizzly bear.

Homosexual serial torturer/killer - scarier than Great White Shark.

Dear Newton:
No, you did not touch a nerve and I will take your bet any day. Your comment shows how little you know about the Houston mass murders. You strike me as the hermit reclusive type ala Dean Corll, so if you want to take a break from your daily Gore and Porn site visits and you can tell the difference between your ass and a whole in the ground head down to your local library. There are two books, both out of print, on this case. The first is titled "The Houston Mass Murders" and the second "The Man with the Candy". Now leave the folks at 2020 Lamar alone. Henley, Corll and Brooks killed people all over Houston, very little happended at the 2020 Lamar address other than the madness coming to an end.
You told him GOOD . Look at where he lives . He NEVER will KNOW how it was IF HE NEVER LIVED IN PASADENA . I Lived there on Richey when it all took place !!!!

In all honesty I really would like to know if Henley or Brooks ever disclosed the reason as to what drove Corll to do this and why. It's just so sick

Six teenaged boys,...plus Corll, where killed at 2020 Lamar. This is also where Dean began escalating and his torture board came into play.
I was privledged enough to have been given a tour of the Lamar house about a year ago with the woman who survived the incident. We had the police diagrams and crime scene pics with us and, other than the garage being turned into a dinning area, the house is EXACTLY the same! The outside was painted and a tree was planted in the yard in order to mask its identity, but it really is no different other than that. Homer Garcia was shot in that bathtub,.....Charles Cobble was almost beaten to death in the back bedroom closest to the back yard by his friend Marty Jones while they were shackled to the board because Dean told him he would allow him to live if he did,...James Dreymala was tortured so bad that Dean needed an apron.
I learned all of this from my visits with, Henley, by the way. I'm not joking. There's NO WAY I could live there.
The last one about James makes me so sad it's just disgusting

I dont know why people comment about the house without knowing, staying in the house wasn't the annoying part yes sometimes our dog get a lil crazy barking to the air, but they were kidds. The really bad part of the house is the people tath stop by and try to get into the privacy of the family coming with camaras or trying to get in the back yard without permission. totaly support the comment to get over this!!!!

You know what's even more "freaky"? A "Proffessor of Criminal Justice" who apparently doesn't know how to spell "professor".
