To Roy in Lewisville<quoted text>
My dad got rid of the pot belly stove and the oil burner sometime in the 50's and had a furnace installed. I wonder if it was your father. I can't remember his full name but it started with an S. we lived at 14840 Turlington. Moved out in 1977 and drove through a few times since and it was a painful experience.
I was born in Harvey in 1950, went to Whittier and TTHS. My brother worked at Wasso's, my Mom at Ingalls. I threw the Harvey Trib. At age 16 I had the greatest job in the world- learned how to bet the horses at Washington Park Racetrack. Dog n Suds were like A&W, but not so popular. I moved away in 1967 and have lived in Arlington, TX since 1976.
