BLUE ISLANDER

Orland Park, IL

Heaven help us. He is the same old same old. Watch who he hires for City Manager. Watch to see if they audit the books? I hope to God he isn't as arrogant as the last Mayor.

Be careful. Nothing is going to change in Blue Island.

With 13 of 14 precincts counted, Vargas has 61% of the vote his ticket has overwhelmingly defeated the opposition.
The voters have spoken, and Stevo it isn't/wasn't.

Now can we all get along?
Can Mr. Stevo be a help more than a hindrance?
Can Mr. Brown understand that being non-partisan means nonpartisan?
How can we work together to mend fences?

It's a shame that only 2900 people came out to vote with a population of 24,000. If nothing changes in Blue Island people shouldn't complain because if you don't vote, you don't have a voice.

If you want things done right you need to get involved. For the 30% who voted, the majority has spoken. The wierd thing is that the negative feed back appears to be from non Blue Islanders.

Such venal and pathetic vitriol from the Stevo/DiPace Green crowd. It was expected. At least Tommy Brown had the maturity and grace to shake Mr. Vargas hand in the end and congratulate him. Did Stevo...NO. Did Di Pace Green congratulate her opponent...NO! What does that say about the character of these people? And some wanted these 2 in City Hall?
Thank God FATE stepped in and made sure that did not happen.
ViVa Vargas!!!!

I'm just glad the house that had "43 newly registered" voters got contested. What a bunch or cheating idiots. Cause that's not crazy. What were your thinking Stevo?
