I was at last nights game and was shocked with the quality of the team. I love the guy, but maybe its time for Coach Mac to step away. Weird play calling. The offensive line was not good, the QB and FB had to do most of the work on there own. The front 4 on defense looked good, but the back 7 were out of sorts. Come on, we almost lost to Hillcrest. Something just ain't right.

Bet they were the same plays from when you were there too. Nothing will ever change til Mac leaves.

STFU you wouldn't know good coaching if it helped you get your long lost erection. Too bad your wife already moved on to the homeless man down the street, you dirtbag. Nice try on the double post, too.

I have been watching this team for several years and while I like Coach Mac, he has run the same offense with the same basic plays the entire time - regardless if the players fit the scheme or not! You need some decent size tackles to run the option style offense he runs and quick smaller guards. I don't think the tackles are moving anyone off the ball this season (at least they weren't Friday) and the quarterback made several ill advised plays (putting it nicely) that he needs to correct going forward! He may have had a bad game Friday (because he had a great game against Lemont the week before) but had it not been for a big defensive stand at the end of the game, Hillcrest would have upset the Bengals Homecoming plans!

When your own crowd is yelling to throw the ball, maybe it's time to try something new. Get some new blood in there. You can't keep making the kids fit the plays, you need to tailor the plays around the talent that you have, every class is different, use their strengths.

Sad, why don't you go get a job as a coach and see how easy it is. Every armchair QB like you has a solution, right? It's so easy to criticize when you have no skin in the game. Give it a rest and find something else to gripe about. It's a GAME, and anonymously trying to get a coach fired is beneath contempt. Think you're a real man? You're not. Walk up to the coach, or call him yourself and air your grievances. Until then, you're a weak stick and a coward.

So it is alright for you to post under a false name, but this other person can't? Either talk about football or go start another thread telling us how you hate the Patch editors.

Well, those patch folks are really big losers, too. But not the OF coach. He has my vote. Off to bash the Patch.....again.

You can't argue with the success Coach Mac has had but I wonder how much more he would have had adjusted to the players he had. A couple years ago he kept running plays between Lemonts two 300+ pound tackles when our heaviest guy trying to move them was about 240.....

We lost one game to them and Tevin Coleman, who is now starting running back for a Big 10 team and was an all-state player, touched the ball 5 times the whole game!! He ranks as one of the best HS players I have ever seen (been watching HS sports for 30+ years!)

Oh yeah, and I was also a coach (in several sports) for 28 years and played football for almost 20. So, I have a little experience in team sports....

It'll go right up the middle. Especially now that their 1st string QB is out with torn ACL/LCL. Just throw the darn ball.

Sorry your kid is sitting on the bench but, are the three fumbles coaches fault?? Pretty basic stuff - hold onto the ball

People complaining about coach D are always going to be parents that think their kid is better than all the other kids and is under utilized and/or a former raider football parent. I've been there before.......your all full of yourselves
