Another day, another lawsuit in Richmond. Although this time it's an appeal. The 40 Gloucester petitioners filed an appeal Wednesday with the Virginia Supreme Court, saying that the $80,000 in sanctions levied against them by Judge Westbrook J. Parker violates the First and Fourteenth amendments to the Constitution.

How many people in Gloucester own over 100 acres, how many own over 300, how many own over 500, how many own over 1000, 2000? How would a house on 1/2 acre, selling for over $400,000.00 effect them? What side of the board protects, the larger land owners? Which side of the board has political connections? How much in taxes would a 1000 acres pay, in York County, VS Gloucester. New Kent, James City? What would it take for the Board to protect, the common man?
Get rid of TA, Ressler, Woodard and Crewe, that's how we protect the common man.

One down three to go.

Yep. And there you have "THE REAL" Gloucester Mafia.
And how the heck would you know, you don't even live here. According to youself.

And don't say you've got family here. It's obvious your family here is tied to this group, very closely. Because no one other than family and their close friends still supports this group.

What is the ratio between non developed, vs developed. per household, what do the large non-farm land owners pay, as a percentage, of the budget? do you feel we should carry their investment. all of the old Chesapeake timberland been sold to private investors. Is it really still timberland?

I don't have to live there, thank God, to see what is going on. Your motives are as transparent as the government you claim to want. Now you have a majority on your board of supervisors who will serve...not the people, but the select few. As far as my family goes, well they are none of your business. I would love to have my sister out of there. My nephews, I will leave to their own devices. I suspect they could handle the likes of you with no problem should the need arise. Very inventive, those two. Oh, just for your own information; I have only ever met one member of the board, and I wasn't impressed much with him in the least.

The last time we had a board that served the people it was BEFORE Ressler was elected. I've watched the various boards of this county and have never seen someone who was so selfserving as Ressler. She claims to be doing this for a "constituent" but then I've heard her speaking to people in general about her "beliefs" and it's amazing those constituents seem to be pushing the same agenda she has talked about.

And I'll agree with you, I am transparent. I want to get rid of these board members because they have made Gloucester County the laughing stock of the region. I've been at regional meetings and the same question is always, "What is that crazy board going to do next." Yep, that's the perception.

None of what you say is relevent. If you wish to know that information, look it up. Ask the Commissioner of Revenue.

But I do know one thing. Gloucester is approximately 88% timberland. That's right. I was shocked to hear it, but according to the planning department, it is.

all of the old timber land has been bought by private investors, John Hancock insurance bought all of the old Chesapeake land, but has sod all of it's holdings in Gloucester. They still own most of New Kent, and a large part of Mathews. Investors looking for future development, Yet the County Taxes it as timberland.

Wasn't the board that made Gloucester the laughing stock, it was that gay newspaper and their lying reporter.

No, it was the Foul 4 and their nasty, vengeful, foaming at the mouth AND embarrassing entrance into power. Do you have short memory or are you just trying to rewrite history?

They were contributors, but if the reporter had written the truth, and if the editor had allowed it to be printed, then Hicks wouldn't have been rooked into it, and the petitioners blindsided.
