It appears that some of you need to get your facts straight before posting on here. No nobody was seriously hurt at the first wreck, it was more than a small cut on his head. He was in uniform for what he was doing that day, and no it was not putting up signs. He does that on HiS on time on the weekends. I have seen him out there anytime on the weekends. The second wreck was were the woman was pulled over and she in returned backed into thetack van. So get your shit straight before posting!!!!!

I actually passed that accident and saw the trooper taking the lady in handcuffs to his car. I heard later she was drunk and weaving on the road. They stopped her and she backed up into them.
Yeah that makes sense, NOT!
According to the paper the deputy was at fault but NO CHARGES filed.

No one said anyone was seriously hurt. In fact had he been wearing his seatbelt he would not have recieved that small cut on his head. Facts are he and Snead have been seen during the week putting/pulling signs up throughout the county. And since when did "green" become a MCSO color. When did Road Captains start wearing plain clothes to work?

Not talking about that one. The person asked about the accident at prison road and 58. I was going on west 58 and saw a trooper taking a lady to his car and she had handcuffs on. Later I was told she was driving drunk and was pulled over by the tac truck and she backed up into them.

As a matter of fact I do know my facts. More than you apparently. So invest alittle more before you spread false rumors about people. Why all the bashing, you don't see any Fox supporters bashing yall but that's ok, you all will have to face all the lies one day!

Obviously they aren't educated enough to read before they bash. They are being very touchy!!! And just so they know he was charged, from the wreck on 58 at Triangle. So like I said they need to dig alittle harder and get their facts straight first!

Do you know if anyone was hurt in the second wreck? I'm told after the one at Triangle there was a second wreck near prison rd. A sheriff's van ran into the back of a truck. I hope everyone is o.k. Seems like every time I turn around one of them is wrecking a car. Two or three weeks ago it was in the paper that one of them was in a bad wreck. I think it was around three months ago there was another one that hit a tree.
No didn't hear about that till now. Think about it though. They're in a car pretty much all day every day, it's part of what they do. Just the law of averages dictates one of them will eventally be in an accident. I doubt there is any person in Mecklenburg county that hasn't had some kind of sn accident. I pretty much file it under the stuff happens rule. Praise Jesus, no one was seriously hurt. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for the info. That was all I was looking for. Didn't mean to walk into a hornet nest. I know Mr. Hawkins and I'm sure he wouldn't like this negative stuff. In fact I'm sure of it. I know him to be a good man and he has my vote. The wrecks seem to be excessive but you do make a good point. Just my point of view. You don't hear about other police wrecking that often. I know it can happen to anyone. It just seems to happen often with the sheriff's office. Just an observation. It was on my mind. Not wanting to sound hateful or negative. I just think it is an issue. Thats what elections should be over, issues. So, can we keep this thing civil?

not hurt, If you don't hear of other police officers wrecking often, you don't read alot of papers or watch much TV. It happens everyday. They drive thousands of miles a year in every kind of situation and just like the rest of us they sometimes make mistakes. Baker will be charged by the Virginia State Police and will have to pay the ticket or go to court just like everyone else.

Wait and see.

Second wreck was a DUI of drugs case where the Tactical Response Team was returning from training, saw a vehicle driving erradically and made a traffic stop. The women put the truck SHE WAS DRIVING in reverse and backed into the Sheriff's Office vehicle. That group of deputies was getting a dangerous driver off of our roads and the ignorant one's of you are talking Sh*t about them.

So let's get this straight when the paper prints something that makes the sheriff's office look bad it is gospil but when it prints something that makes them look good it's the sheriff putting a spin on the news for the election.

How about this, at the time the paper was printed there had been no charges. Here again when you make stuff up to try and knock people down you NEVER win. God made things to work that way.

Support who you want. But the bashing the other party is totally uncalled for. I don't understand why you think its only Fox supporters that are flying off the handle. We do because of the untrue statements being made. Just ask that they research or have proof before saying the untrue statements they are saying. God made us all and I don't think he would approve of all this hate and ill talk about one another. God bless!

From what I read, it's always the same rumors. Didn't Franklin Roosevelt say "Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth."

Apparently they think it does. They are only hurting Mr. Hawkins not helping and making themselves look bad. Like I said vote for who you want, but why bash the other party in the meantime??

Lying about someone telling a lie doesn't make it true either. This blog was started by someone voicing a concern. I don't know what lies that you are talking about but I know who lied to me. Danny Fox told me last election that the other man had promised so many people jobs that he would have to fire people to make room for them. I did not think that was a good thing to do. He said that he wouldn't do something like that. Then after he won the election he did exactly what he said the other man was going to do. Now you people can argue all you want to on here and call each other liars but there is nothing that can be said to change my mind. Danny Fox lost my vote no one else. I know what he told me and I know what he did.

You spoke the truth there my brother! Danny Fox has no one to blame but himself if/when he loses this election! Proven liar!
