How absolutely horrible. It must have been her time to go although it doesn't make it any easier on the family.

1 Would you have said that if it had been your sister? Or girlfriend? |

|
How awful, how do you just hit someone in the road?
Didn't he see the vehicle turned sideways and think to slow down?? Her poor family. |

1 Two in the morning, and the car was turned sideways, so there wasn't much reflective surface or lights to see. And unless they were right in Monticello on I-94, there are no street lights on the interstate. So, I'm guessing the driver could very well have NOT seen the vehicle in the road. Or if he did, it might have been too late to react - I believe the speed limit in that area is 70 mph. I'm not trying to minimize the seriousness of the situation, however, one should stand on the shoulder of the road if involved in an accident on the highway. Standing in a lane of traffic, especially after dark, is asking for trouble. |

Thats the first thing I thought! It's crazy! |

Wow - how horrible. This does really show you we all have a predetermined number of days. Sorry to family and friends. Too young, very tragic.

1 I don't know how long they where standing there. Neither do you. Maybe they just got out. "Darwin award winner. We thank you for your personal sacrifice and bettering the gene pool." You should sacrifice yourself "to better the gene pool". Rot in hell! |

This is like the SHEEPLE that just blindly walk across the street, without looking, because it is the law the vehicles have to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. We are humans, mortals, we all make mistakes. There is everything right about being responsible and keeping yourself safe. Afterall who loves you more than you??? |

3 Next time you survive a rollover crash, be sure to let us all know how you feel-I'm sure you won't be dazed/in shock, disoriented or injured. |

Old Habits Die Hard. Have you heard of that 1?? Habits like looking both ways before crossing roads and railroad tracks, and not playing, staying in the road right of way. I'll guarantee that the approaching vehicle was more visible to this accident victim than the victim was visable to the driver of the approaching vehicle. Take a look at how many "SHEEPLE" just walk out in front of cars at shopping centers and other public places. Frequently these people "adults" also have children following their lead when they do these unsafe acts. Aren't the adults to teach the children??? |

4 I still think that after you survived a horrible accident, instincts may not yet be restored. It has nothing to do with being a sheep, which is why I brought up this point in the first place. Using a term like "sheeple" is completely inappropriate; a woman died. It had nothing to do with her being a follower of the masses, but everything to do with her being hurt, injured, dazed, in shock, and who knows what else. I grew up in Wright County, and I feel badly of her death. |

Very sad indeed and I do not see that judging the poor victims is helping anyone- it would be nice to to have to read comments that have nothing to back them up and only tear down those involved.
My sympathy to all the families involved- May God surround you with comfort and peace and heal the sorrow in your hearts. |

I knew Page,(the woman who died) she was not nor has never been a sheep. You idiots who assume that she and her boyfriend just stood there are complete morons. they had just survived a freaking roll over accident! Of course they were disoriented and in shock. And no it wasn't a situation where they just stood there, did you read the article at all? They were hit by the second car just moments after crawling out of their totaled vehicle.
My feelings go out to the family in these hard times for you. Page was a wonderful person. She'll be missed. |

1 That's what I was trying to tell folks. My one and only car accident, 14 years ago, was a very minor fender bender and I was still shaking and in shock from it. I can almost guarantee anyone who survives a roll-over car accident will be dazed, if not injured. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. My heart goes out to you and her family. |
