Are the bacteria warnings cancelled? If not, are we flying red flags to alert?

red flags are still up at the beaches this morning due to E. coli bacteria levels in the lake.
New tests will be done today.

I don't see how they can open North Beach when its so close to south Beach, I think they are only worried about the tourism for the festival...

As of Friday afternoon, six of South Haven's beaches are open.
The exception is South Beach, which was tested Thursday and had slightly above legal limits for E. coli.
While the water is probably fine now, no new testing can be done until tuesday and so the beach will officially be "closed" until at least Wednesday.

Um, the contaminated water comes down the river from the heavy rain.
The wind is from the North or Northwest pushing the bad water south.
