Next someone should investigate whether Anderson took payoffs from the developers to change ordinances and zoning to line the pockets of the robbers

Anderson owned Somerlott with what he knew, that's how he got the cops to do his dirty work for him. Blame falls on all who give and take unethical orders.

Weren't there any supervisors at the training session? Nobody stood up for these women? Sounds like there should be more defendants in this lawsuit. I know there are bosses in between an officer and a cheif. If they did nothing in defense of the women they are just as guilty.

According to the article, this went on for quite awhile, without city government taking action......that's where they will lose their case, any guess's on a settlement amount?

It wasn't bad enough that your former chief sounded like something out of a Stephen King novel but then the current city manager made that ridiculous, inane comment. Just stop talking. You're already on all the police blogs being made fun of,if you get out of this for less than fifteen mil it's a flippin' miracle. BTW, nice back up.

I know it, you have a minor fender- bender and suddenly there are 12 police, 8 firetrucks 4 ambulances and 50 lawyers. Time to cut government, lawyers may be sleazy but at least they're "private sector". Can't blame 'em for trying to take advantage of an opportunity. It's the American way.

I'm not sure if being maligned at work 1940's style is comparable to a "minor fender-bender". I wish all men that are insecure about their penis's would just stay home from work because they never carry their share of the workload and make life more difficult for everyone else. Whenever my female boss makes this comment, all of the other females in my workplace begin to laugh and point at the genitals of the few men that work with us. We've been doing this for years. We always have a good time because we're just kidding.

Position threatened? Isn't making jerk-off comments threatening enough for you? God forbid he has a daughter.

If it were one woman against the city, I'd think maybe she's just a b*tch. Three of them makes it a whole different deal. Hopefully, they only raise the non-homestead taxes to pay for the stupidity. Plus, they'll have to hire 3 new cops, because when this is said and done the women will never have to work again.
