Absolutely, used to go to the Two Guys on Boston Road

How about Grants?

I dont remember Kings, and I consider Ames to be "a new store" but the others I do remember.

This may be closer to Worcester than Springfield, but how about "The Fair" in Spencer, is it still there?

Don't you remember Bradlees, how about Topps, Mars? My favorite was Bradlees, and it's not even on the list. I worked Two Guys, store security. In answer to the person asking about the Fair in Spencer, it's long gone.

I remember a Fair store near route 20 in Worcester. There was a Spag's for awhile in Springfield and it was a long time fixture in Shrewsbury.

Two Guys, Grants, Mamouth Mart - Miss them all. Also remember Bob's Stores when they were truly a discount store. Used to go there for our annual school shopping - Chino's 4-$15.00. Those were the days LOL

Yes I do remember Two Guys Dept. store. It was in West Springfield on Riverdale Street. The building is still standing there but it now houses a sports and a craft store.

As for discount department stores I think that Bradlees was the higher end and enjoyed shopping there. Now with the take over of Walmart very few others have survived and I am not crazy about Walmart.

Two Guys was on Memorial Drive in Chicopee and Boston Road in Springfield. If your talking about where Dicks Sporting Goods and Michaels Crafts are presently located that was a Topps Store.
