You know what, I am so sick of all these new policies put in place, don't do this, don't do that, you can't wear this, you can't say that. What happened to freedom of speech..... Sure Phoebe was pushed over the edge, and I am sorry to her family by the loss... But cmon lets get real.... what isnt considered bullying. I blame all the helicopter parents who cant let their kids walk down the street without them, or is it the parents who want their kids to live at home until 25, or the kids who have mommy and daddy calling prospective employers and negotiating their wages and contracts. These 25 year old kids that are still on their parents insurance or such.. I see my kids friends who can't pi$$ without their parents permission. These kids are candy a$$es, we try and protect them in school, what happens when they enter the real world.

It is also the parents who pretty much ignore their kids from an early age. Don't talk with them, don't address behavioral issues before they hit school. These kids come into school with no sense of limits, physical or emotional. They need attention and get it, albeit in a negative way. They take their frustrations out on the other kids.

These parents expect the schools to bring up their kids and teach them decency. These are the kid who bully and the rest the kids suffer for it. Double edge sword this one!

The goverment uses these terrible tragedies, as a tool to make new laws. To control more of us everyday. When will america wake up? When we are all slaves to the gov't...Bullies have been around since the beginning of time. Toughen the &^%$ up.

Let me quess, you were a bully as a kid and your kids are now, when I was a kid they called it kids being kids, to bad it was at the expense of other kids who were being tormented, it is sad that there isnt an answer to this problem after more than 50 years
