I'd love to see this story go National. More people should see this story than just the local viewers. You are both amazing people!

Both Julie and Kurt are courageous people. Kurt saw an opportunity to help his friend and took the time to educate himself on this topic, and that courage is what saved his life. Julie is an angel that is supporting him to help him get through this. This story should not be forgotten.

What a great reward for someone trying to do a sacrifice for another.
It makes one thing there may still be miracles in this world.

Healthy holidays to all.

This story absolutely should receive national attention. Kurt's amazing generosity saved his life. It truly is a miracle. National exposure would increase her chances at a new kidney and life with her family. This story touches my heart. It gives me faith that when you do the right things in life, you are rewarded.

This story reminds me of "The Gift of the Magi". What a seasonal message that it is truly in giving that we receive. Bravo to two beautiful people!
Hoping for the best

I think everything happens for a reason and Kurt deciding to donate his kidney saved his life. I am praying for Julie and hope she receives a kidney from another donor soon. Happy holidays to both of your families. May you be blessed by the Christmas spirit!

As Kurt's wife, I wanted to share thanks on his behalf for all of the support of family, friends, and even strangers. The staff at Baystate Medical Center is top notch, Julie's day will come. Thanks again to all.

jane, toro & pusherman -- have you nothing better to do with your time? Obviously you've never had a life threatening ailment - your insensitivity to anothers generosity is gross. Karma is a b*tch - may you feel every pulse of her fury when your day is here ...
To Kurt & Julie's family - this was a GREAT story and I hope you are both blessed with good health in the days ahead. I hope they find a transplant for you soon.
All the best to you & yours ...

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Taurus

The steadier you are now, the better: this is not the time to throw caution to the wind and be exceptionally attentive to details. If anything, labour the point and you'll find in a few days' time that you are really glad you did. Friends will be able to give your morale a big boost at the moment, if you're in need of support. Team relationships and efforts work tremendously well at the moment. Why fly solo if you don't need to?
