Just look at the sports section of the daily breeze. They are advertised all over the place, right next to the nude clubs. They advertise as "pretty asian girls" or "young asian girls".

Its rediculous that people dont think these asian parlors are anything but hosts to criminal activity.

Also notice they are on all corners and sometimes in the sight of our childrens schools.

Why does the daily breeze promote such activity

Lets ask the Torrance PD to enforce laws and arrest those caught up using these businesses illegally.

Clearly its asian organized crime and human trafficking but everyone looks the other way.

WHY???

I doubt Navet would say the same thing if that was his mother, sister, or daughter in there getting "banged". Or maybe he would.....

pending state legislation that would remove much local control of massage businesses. That legislation, authored by Sen. Jenny Oropeza, D-Redondo Beach, will standardize certification for massage therapists nationwide when it comes into effect Sept. 1.

1. How can a state law standardize certification nationwide?

2. Has the law been passed and signed?

Hey num-nuts...first of all, it is illegal. So you might want to either 1) close the doors on the parlor you run or 2) let your wife know you go to them all the time.
As you stated "it SHOULD be legal", under your wisdom any act that is currently illegal should be okay as long as you "think it SHOULD be legal".
Crazy logic. Hope the TPD busts you the next time your trying to get a happy ending...try and get a real date sometime.

For the sane ones on this page, let the daily breeze know that you dont like them making money off illegal activity.

Tell your friends what is going on, write to the council members and TPD demanding action.

If you dont, guys like Navet will bring all illegal activity to a town near you because it SHOULD be legal. Still LMAO.

it is all good clean fun! i think. i never been to a "massage parlor" and never will. but why is it that they have more in the lennox district? thank about it. i know from friends that get massages for back pain and whatever they love it! i think the ones in torrance and south bay are on the up and up, for others, it is LAX and the lennox area. be safe all.

As long as they were not doing it against their will, who cares? Besides, they would be supplying a much needed service...

Instead of cracking down on massage parlors and throwing these poor girls out of work and adding to the unemployment numbers, the Big Brother government in DC should provide stimulus money to keep these businesses going. They're spending on everything else, might as well get something uselful for our tax dollars before Obomonation and Pelosi assign us to collective farms.

I'm glad Torrance is cracking down on this, I just wish Oropeza and the other incompetent clowns in Sacramento hadn't taken away local control.

Also, perhaps the Daily Breeze should reconsider their apparent support of this local human trafficing and sex industry by refusing to run the ads from these sleazebags (see p. B7) such as for: "Hispanic and Asian girls" "Free table shower New young staff" "New Young Latina, Asian staff" "Body scrub.." etc.

Navet, we're all impressed with your "wanna-be Maverick" photo, but while you are telling people to stop telling others what to do, you are constantly in here on the blogs telling others what you think they should do. I'm sorry Goose dies in the movie, but take your own advice once in a while.

I find it very disconcerting when an issue climbs the ladder of governmental inefficiency. The State government of California is utterly inept. It would take 2 years and 3 lawsuits to draw the curtains at the state capital building, and then it would OVER budget!

Im with you Navet! Lets go get massages and SMILE in the faces of these angels who have their 2 cents to say and sticking there noses in everyones biz. Why dont you mind your own? Dont you have bigger things to worry about? The LA weekly can advertise call girls, but massage parlors cant offer a happy ending? They are everywhere, whether you mormons like it or not! BAM! that just happened....

Note: for all you people that cant read I specificly stated;
1)two consenting adults
2)not in public view
Who said they are both consenting? The article mentioned human trafficking. That doesn't sound consentual to me. Also what about the spread of disease, tax evation (which causes the rest of us to have to pay more) and how this affects the honest massage businesses in the area. The more places like this we have in our neighborhood, the more pervs we attract to our area. When they run out of money to pay for it at a massage parlor, maybe they will turn to our kids. This is more complex than a one night stand.
