Mental health and making good sound healthy decisions should be taught in elementary school from 1st grade on. Helping students develop a healthy self-esteem is something all parents and educators should strive for.

One way you can help teens get educated about mental health issues is through our non-profit organization - Erasing the Distance. We shed light on these issues and break down the stigma through theatre. We gather true stories from Chicago-land teens, put them on stage with professional actors, hold dialogues after each show and train faculty and staff how to identify warning signs. Go to www.ErasingtheDistance.org for more information.
