" Voters in Duarte Unified, El Rancho Unified, Santa Fe Springs, South El Monte and La Puente voted to increase taxes in one form or another " The one thing these areas have in common with the city of Bell is a large latino population. I think these people were mislead like they were in the city of Bell, Because nobody in their right mind would vote to tax themself?

What a bunch if idiots to vote more taxes when there already short on funds. I do not believe for a moment that people really voted this in. Voting is not real any more people may be stupid but I find it hard to believe they may be that stupid.

We are definitely our own worst enemy.
Don't these people get it - that once implemented, taxes and their administration take on a life of their own and are never obsoleted or repealed?
When was the last time a state, federal, or county agency was removed? Anyone??

The ones that voted yes for these taxes are all YOUNG,new voters. They probably still live with their parents.THEY Don`t contribute to the household. And live a very selfish with{it`s about me attitude}.It is obvious that there was a LANGUAGE BARRIER there. What part of increased taxes didn`t they understand ? Looks like it will be something for the new Attorney General will have to investigate soon. Not months or years later !

"While a wave of small-government sentiment swept through most of the nation Tuesday..."

That's nonsense. THe idiot voters installed more Republican extremists in the government and we can expect to see even more Republican financial crimes being committed against us far in excess of the Bush terrorist regime's treason.

These right wing Republicans aren't for small government and less taxes, they're for Christanic theocracy and raping the tax payers in favor of their corporate masters -- many of whom are enemies of the United States.

If you vote, you're an idiot.

This proves that the voters are morons and the politicians are using this opportunity to award the suckers with some cheap words to make the residents feel better.

The only retarded Christians are the gullible Latino Catholics who, literally and figuratively, get raped on daily basis with a big smile on their pathetic faces.

When are the American people going to wake up to the fact that big government and big business are one of the same? When are they going to realize that our banking system is the root of it all and that political affiliation and finger pointing is ignorant, irrelevant, and down right stupid?

Was that meant to imply that all Christians are retarded or that he's a retard who just happens to be a Christian?

I'm sure of one thing: All atheists are definitely retarded

The last line says it all about you. You don't vote, yet you whine? And the voters are the idiots right?

Here's an addition to my last reply to your inane line of thinking: All atheists are retarded...all liberals are retarded...all non-voters are retarded...

That makes you a triple-decker retard. Congrats

I think that they should double the taxes out here so that they can have more police in snappy uniforms to marvel at while I'm at the Jolly Jug.
