Shooting no shock at school

I'm hoping that one day, a relative or friend of the families will write a book or story showing the senselessness of taking illegal drugs, revenge, retaliation, or any acting out of a negative emotion, and that book will change the mindset of many teenagers about things that cause harm to others. The perpetrators can NOT be feeling "great" that they handled their disagreements, fears, hatred or whatever they felt, in such a horrific manner. There are always times we "feel" like hurting someone else, but normal people do not act that feeling out. We just let those feelings go, and focus on other events and people in life. Since the media won't do it, someone out there reading this just may bring attention to teenage violence, in a way that will stop this from ever happening again!

For those of you who don't know Chris's parents, Angie and Herman, you are missing out on a tremendous learning experience. These people have put themselves out for others helping them, doing for the community and people in need, helping by taking in foster children, taking care of an Alzheimer's elderly parent until her death, opening their home to hundreds of people during holidays, standing together through thick and thin. They didn't deserve ANY of the negative things that happened in their lives, and ESPECIALLY didn't deserve what happened to their son. To Angie and Herman, I want you to know how much I appreciate all you have done, and encourage you to not give up on life, on the goodness of most people, or on loving your other children. None of this was your fault. There was nothing you could have done differently to prevent those perps from taking drugs, having a gun, or driving by and shooting. Nothing. All my love goes with you, and to those who don't know Angie and Herm... I hope you can find someone you can look up to and have as role models, like I look up to this couple. They encourage me, inspire me, and give me hope for my own life. To all those teens who stuck by Chris through thick and thin, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To his girlfriend, I want to say thank you also, for making Chris smile.

Apparently murder is very much a fact of life. Someone was fatally shot about a month ago just steps away from where I used to wait for the bus every day. On what do you base your assertion that murder is not a fact of life?

Murdering someone in cold blood is not a mistake. It’s the act of a sick and twisted mind. If he was led astray, it was himself doing the leading, and at the very least he allowed himself to be led. He had complete control over his actions right up to the time the firing pin fell upon the primer.

The fact that you knew him is not grounds for leniency. The fact that he is young is not grounds for leniency. He is a murderer. And I hope the parents of the dead boy get to see him writhe and squirm on the table while the white coats stick that needle in his arm. Don’t worry though—they probably won’t put you to death as well.

Things are on their way and soon the assailants will have their day in court. Anyone who is out their for Demetrius and Chris try to go to the prelim to be their voices. Justice is Gods and God is good. It broke my heart to see the victims fathers break down.

As I sit hear with a numb heart and mind I can only imagine what my Aunt, Uncle and family are going through. I can only offer them my love, support and prayers to help them through such a sensless tragedy. I am so thankful they know Jesus for he is the only comfort and light during such an evil and dark time.
I am so grateful for all the support and love they are receiving from everyone. I do beleive that Chris' & Demetris death is not in vain.

People are going to talk but no one can take away what Christopher Trevizo did. He gave life to three people who will live on and carry on his legacy. One of his kidneys went to his 1st grade teacher and even the doctor said it was divine intervention because the tissues matched so well. His other kidney and pancreas went to a 54 year old man and his liver went to a 42 year old woman in Utah. They are all alive and doing well, thanks to the Hero. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways that we do not understand but I am sure that Chris knows and someday, if we are lucky enough, we will also know the truth.

The preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 18, 2006 in Pomona Court. The wheels of justice are finally rolling and let up hope that justice will be served. Thank you for all that read this site.

are you guys serious? what happened shouldnt have happened but it did. you think chris and demetrius we're heroes?? are you kidding me? they started it by holding Chris M. up to gun point over some pot. and was threatening to kill his mom, sister, called his girlfriend mallory and threatened to kill her and to make chris give them however much they wanted. Chris M tried letting it go, but with the harrassment that Demetrius and Chris gave him continuously was HORRIBLE. i know that it doesnt make it right about what happened and my heart goes out to the family, but your son was not a hero

I second that. Most of you people dont know how "bad" Chris and Demetrius really were. Chris M was Jumped and Robbed held up to gun point. Told that if he tried anything that they would kill his mom and his girlfriend. Yes, they called his gf and actually told her.
oh but of course the family wont believe any of this, but guess what ?......it's true. That is how Dem. and Chris "rolled" with thier "homies". Dem and Chris were just as big of druggies as the 3 accused (if not bigger, cuz they were the ones that robbed him and held him to gun point first!)
I still STONGLY believe that this was NOT the thing to do, But Chris M was put through a lot of shit. Getting held up to gun point and knowing that his mom and girlfriend were in big danger...Demetrius and Chris messed with Chris M's head until he couldnt take it anymore.
Like i said, i strongly believe that this shouldn't have happened....but what im saying is that this wasnt just a random thing, there were multiple threats and multiple fights before it led to this.

For all those that think this was just some random act of "gang" violence of pathethic childish stupidity, say it again after you know that these so called "heros" held up Chris M, along with three other boys, with a shotgun all just to score some free weed and then proceeded to threaten his family and loved ones with death and bodily harm. Not only that, but they would kill him if he went to the police.

So to finish, there is no one place to point the finger. Because if we could, then it would start somewhere with John Wayne and the mindless killing on television and in films. And that is just pathetic.

Everyone here is suffering the families of the victims, people that know and love all parties involved. Everyone.
