Are you serious?...is this Boondoggle still alive? Doesn't anyone at these agencies understand the California's current financial condition?
Even if we had the funds to build such a useless monument, it would be an outrageous waste of taxpayer moneys. I cannot believe that this has flown under the radar for this long.
Do California a favor and get some common sense, trash this project immediately before the public pays attention and chases you out of town tarred-and-feathered.

Undeniably a total waste of money. The best way for people to learn about the San Gabriel River is to visit it in it's natural state. Leave well enough alone. Stop your hidden agenda's.
