Our View: No to soda tax in El Monte
It is indeed. We take to heart those tut-tutting Metro bus-side ads asking us, quite reasonably, if we would really choose to pour 10 packets of sugar into a glass - the equivalent of what we do when we drink a non-diet "soft drink." But cities shouldn't punitively tax those drinks, or ban the Big Gulps as New York has.

No on "H"--yes, no on "H."
What does "H" stand for?
horrific, horrendous, hideous, hogwash
Vikki Martinez now says she will vote against "H.'
Great job, old Vik, after approving the squandering of $100,00+ on an absolutely idiotic proposal.
Your vote for this will cost you in your running for Mare (Whoops--Mayor) of El Monte in 2015;
as will your voting against rehiring the 14
stalwarts at the Aquatic Center.
You have lost your campaign already, dumbo(a).
