In a tight economy why try to keep up with lager hospitals by building a NOT needed expansion insead of paying their bills and keeping the hospital up to date on sevices and supplies. 18 patients and they felt the need to expand Unbelievable!!!!

If we all bow our heads and ask forgiveness from Our Lord and Savior Andrew Cuomo, He will bless us, save us from administrative sins, and give us eternal taxes to pay for foodstamps in every wallet, iPhones in every pocket, abortions in every hospital (even EJN!), subsidized apartments in every town, and cash benefits to buy heating oil and more booze & cigarettes & dope!

Let us pray.

My point exactly. I keep getting slammed for telling the truth, or treated like I don't feel badly for all of the people without jobs. The point is those people wouldn't be in this situation if he had not threatened his staff into keeping quiet. They didn't want to loose their jobs either. He has been nothing less than a dictator of that hospital. I really hope someone finally speaks up.

I completely agree. The hospital could have been renovated, all equipment, lab, operating room, emergency room etc brought up to date and necessary staff hired for less than it cost to build that new wing. The new wing is nothing more than a show piece.

What is the function of the Chief Executive Officer (Administrator), is it not his job to kept the Hospital in compliance with all state and federal regulations under his directions? Why was this not done? Everything I have read, clearly points to the CEO responibilies! It seems that The Hospital Board should have notice and took action some time ago on the financial situation, before waiting on year end fiqures. They must get monthly financial reports, like many Boards, all are just Rubber Stampers! Now is the time to do a reconstruction in the Administration for best of the community. This community has given EJN alot of support, now support the community!

Dont you retards ever stop. Most people in gouverneur want the hospital back up and running including myself..you sit behind your f$$$ing computers and run your mouths about each other and how much of a sh$$hole this town is..well I have news for you if the hospital does not reopen this town is done..if you think this town is bad now just wait till there is 240 people out of work...and canole admitted he made a mistake so why dont we all give him a chance to correct it
He had a chance to correct the problem before it got out of hand and the doh was called in. He blew it, he wanted it covered up. I don't think anyone in the community wants the hospital to close but we would like to see changes. Positive changes. If I take my loved one to the Er, than I expect the correct treatment! If you are truly an employee, you should really try to talk more intelligent than you sound.

I also hope our hospital reopens but Cajole needs to go, along with some board members. The town does not trust them. Even if the hospital reopens under Cajole and his board most people will be afraid to use our hospital. Under new management maybe even some Drs. that have left will return.

This brings to light the general ignorance of the public and administration about the importance of the hospital laboratory. This proves the vital importance of having a good hospital laboratory and what happens when the lab is ignored. Salaries have not kept up with the demand and managers are going to travel tech agencies to fill the positions instead of raising the salaries to make te job desirable for people looking for a professional job. Until that issue is addressed these kinds of problems will continue.
I agree with you. I am a national and state registered lab tech. I just moved to watertown and the pay here is so low for our field that I want to move. I worked hard for my degree in laboratory science and still half the time I would get paid better not to work in the field. Running a lab is expensive. The eqiuptment, reagents and everything else is really expensive. I actually applied at EJ Noble right before they closed. I now know why I didnt get a call back.

Probably didn't get called back because you were not qualified.

I have read all these post on topix and i will say this once again for people to know and these are facts just look them up and investigate! The hospital needs to reopen but only after a complete overhaul!! Everyone needs to go and i mean everyone!! Reasons why: 1. The blood transfusion; yeah the lab tech is at fault but so isnt the RN and Doctor/PA! They have double check and sign off on stuff like that!! 2. Dr.hussain or whatever he is; he wears open toe sandals in the ER and doesnt wear gloves to examine you,and the nurses allow this to go on!! 3. Theres all kind of abuse to the nursing home residents that goes on,along with neglect!! The RN's and nursing supervisors allow this to happen!! 4. You have known drug attics working there!! Ashley fuller is one of them, but wait they finally fired her for that!! 5. Then you jeff hall who when your in the hospital, you see him flirting and making inappropriate comments to the female workers!!! So you see besides giving the wrong blood, sending a guy home because they grabbed the wrong chart and he died; the whole hospital needs to clean house!!! Now there are some good doctors and nurses there, but the majority of nurses and doctors along with canole need to be fired and lose the liscences!!! Finally i just wish these nurses would stop pretending that they are innocent, because they are NOT!!!!! Take some responsibility for once!!!!!

You are ridiculous!!!..What a stupid statement, "I went to Watn. to have my children just so I knew they would be born alive and taken care of." That is a total immature statement.
Gouverneur maternity ward does a great job with babies, and what makes you think that babies are not born alive at EJN. You are a laugh. If you choose to go to Watn. than that's your choice. If one chooses to go to Gouv. then they also have a choice. Continue going to Watn. BTW I have heard of mistakes being made in Watn. To say that Gouv. should be closed forever is saying that you want to deprive people in the area from getting immediate attention. BTW Dogs are not treated at EJN....another immature statement of yours. EJN doctors are not veterinarians, did you not know that?

I hate to burst your bubble big momma, but my happy working ass wouldn't ever go there again. You immature to think because someone is on topix, they don't work. I happen to bust my ass daily. If your sticking up for ej noble then I'm assuming you work there and need your job back. I hope by the grace of god, you people take better care of situations.

I have been using the name "patient" on the EJN threads on the Gouv. forum. I didn't know there was someone else...so negative about EJN using the same name as me.
As "patient" I have many GOOD things to say about EJN. Many lives have been saved there. We are very fortunate to have the ER, the new hospital rooms, the maternity ward, the test equipment, the lab, the doctors, nurses, aids, clerical, and the many other people who work there, and we are grateful for all the services. You....are a VERY SELFISH person. Many of us are grateful to be able to have all of this in our hometown or at least nearby, while you want to deprive us of that and think all of us in the area should drive many miles and take critical time on the road, while in an emergency situation. EJN had been a BIG benefit to many people for many years. If you choose not to go there, then that is your choice, but don't try to push your beliefs and deprive others of the wonderful services at EJN. If you had a choking child, or seriously injured child who needed immediate attention would you take the time to drive to Watn.? You are a ridiculous person!!

Go blow your nonsense up someone else's a$$! I'm so sick of hearing "good" things about the hospital when they have done so much harm! I would highly suggest you do your homework on the hospital, there's more than 1 or 2 lawsuits going on. We're a small community with a small hospital. It doesn't look good when there's more that one suite going on.

You probably can't name one hospital in the US that hasn't had at least one lawsuit, or one hospital that hasn't made mistakes. What harms do you actually and factually know about at EJN? We know that EJN has saved MANY lives. If you are so sick of hearing "good" things about EJN, then apparently you are hearing "good" things, so that's a good thing and I'm not surprised. You failed to answer my question..."If you had a choking child, or a severely injured child that needs immediate attention, would you take the time to drive the child to Watn?" You are completely closed minded. Also, I hope you know that some people sue, just to make some money. You are the one with nonsense, but I won't use vulgar language as you did....shows what kind of person you are!!
