It really shouldn't be that hard to completely ruin these crooked heights politicians ambitions, The Heighs and its politicians don't exactly have a very good reputation, they are know for being crooked.

Yes, it is that same party. Terry Matthews is no better. Maybe the black candidate will win. Don't know much about her, but apparently she is a real estate agent from Lynnwood. Would be nice to see Faso and Matthews split the white vote.

A "real estate agent" is running? That would scare me. As much as career politicians are automatically assigned the label of being corrupt, nothing is scary-er than someone who has no clue how politics works. I'm sorry but you need to work your way up in politics and get the respect of others before you will be able to achieve anything in a higher position. I make it a point to volunteer in every committee that I can in my village, and I've witnessed some heavy meetings between local politicians and state officials (including governors) and agencies. You get one of these well-meaning newcomers and they just stare out like a deer in the headlights, eager to give wonderful ideas about how things should be, but unable to answer difficult technical questions thrown at them. I know that's how I would be.... Nothing gets done that way, and the newcomer gets the reputation of being an idiot.(Can you say maybe the mayor of SV?) As you can tell, I'm not a fan of "throw everyone out because everyone is corrupt." JMO.

Good things like what? I've lived here all my life i've watched my family, who knows all about the crooked politicians of now and then, struggle to help Chicago Heights become the town they once knew. My grandfather, god rest his soul, new all saw all and died in shame of the place he once loved, owned businesses in, and raised his family in. From the mob to the police station, all is a shame.

The African-American candidate has dropped out of the race. Someone should find out if Faso or Matthews had anything to do with this.
