The bad part is the policeman admits no guilt. Though he'll pull two years (with good time, it will probably be a year) and those folks he mistreated will be scared to death for though he was evil he likely has friends on the force that can make life hard for folks in such a small town. This sure hurts the reputation of the good "cops".
