This man has no history of violence of any kind.

To say this is smearing a man who is no longer able to speak for himself and I find that repulsive.

So you understand why I have little
patience w/ppl who try to run from the
cops, endangering civilians and officers
alike.

So you also understand why self serving statements maligning a man who is no longer here to defend himself also make me have little patience w/ ppl making those comments.

But resisting police on a misdemeanor charge as the mans friend stated doesn't warrant a death sentence.

Maybe he shouldn't have resisted
if it was just a misdemeanor charge.

The man who shot my cousin was just
being arrested on a misdemeanor charge
and had never killed anyone before either.

You can try and make this sound like there was more of an underlying charge if you wish to. Not sure what your motivation is in doing so.

But the police had taken his information on the scene and was allowing him to leave with his friends. When the man who was shot made the decision to get out of his friends car and get in his own.

The police were not even going to take him into custody on the scene at the casino.

I'm confused.
If he didn't do anything wrong and wasn't
going to be arrested why did he run?
Why did he ram a police car?

That is a very good question. The police were letting him leave. He got out of his friends car and got in his own. This was confirmed by the friend who was with him at the track.

It was when he got in his own vehicle and left that the police gave chase.

We will never know what was in the mind of the person who got out of the friends car and into his own. Because he is not here to tell us.

But the Chief in Nitro can tell us why the chase was allowed to continue and not called off. So all the ensuing acts would have never occurred.

They had his information from when they spoke with him at the casino. They had already looked at his id and they knew who he was and where he worked.

I am not questioning the individual officer from Nitro who gave chase - but where was the Chief or someone in Charge advising on whether to keep the pursuit going or to call it off.

Pursuits like this are called off every day by law enforcement. As it is not worth the chase and possible injury to the public and officers when there is no serious underlying crime to do so.

All we know for sure is that if Jack (soft as butter) Jordan were at the helm there would of been no chase. he would have either been at Tudors eating something that requires a spoon and a fork or he would have been at the farm.

Well we no longer have to worry about Jack Jordan. Since Casebolt has replaced him at least Intermittently with Brian Oxley.

We can all stop talking about Jordan and start talking about the 'Procrastinating Procrastinator Brian Oxley'

I guess he was in the middle of trying to make a decision when the fatal shot was fired.

He couldn't decide if calling off the chase would be more advantageous for him or allowing it to continue.

Why would a chief need to make the call when a lieutenant on in charge of the shift. Are you saying if the chief was on vacation out of state and something like this was to happen hen or she would have to respond to it. When you have a job where there is a rank structure the highest man or woman on shift is in charge for a reason. In other words a chief is not aloud to sleep or take days off for any reason. Then there should not be any rank then. Rank doesn't matter. You are a very stupid person Tifney.

Once a situation like this gets out of hand like it did the officers adrenalin is pumping the civilian is scared to death and acting also on adrenalin. This is not a good combination. Puts not only the immediate officers involved in danger it does the civilian fleeing the police and innocent bystanders.
Oh yessssss! It is a much better decisión to give him some time to go get a weapon just in case he didnt have one. That would be sooooooo smart! Duh...idiot

Okay I am pretty sure the state law on DUI states that when you flee while intoxicated and driving, that constitutes a Felony. That guy was drunk and his friends were supposed to take him home. He took it upon himself to endanger the public and get into the vehicle. The officer tried to walk up to his vehicle and get him out at first but he refused and took off in that blazer. The officer has a duty act to protect the public at this point and an additionally liability if he doesn't pursue. You can scream misdemeanor all day but the moment he decided to drive that vehicle while drinking and not stop for police he committed a felony. Wonder what his alcohol and drug level was on the autopsy report, publish that and then we will know what was in his system but no you won't do that because then you wont have a pot to piss in with your lawsuit abuse.

I apologize. That was uncalled for.
You're right.
Why say something that mean and slanderous just to say "I'm sorry, that's uncalled for". You are an Azz hole of the utmost, and I'm not going to come back in a few minutes and say "I'm sorry that was uncalled for" because I mean what I say, And I think you did too. Our police risk their lives every day to protect us citizens, and if you can't say something good about them then keep your filthy mouth shut!
