I think I understand: the survivors of the crash of 2008 can apply for and award for having figured out a way to sell clam-juice alcoholic drinks to those whose businesses didn't survive and who need an escape through inebriation.
Somehow in the past I have never wanted clam juice in my cocktail, but now I have the overwhelming desire to have anything else at all, as long as it is not in the least bit remotely like clam juice.
Clam juice - it's what's left of a dead clam after something eats it! Bring some home tonight!

Another much ado about nothing. Wine and restaurants? Thats the best they can address? UVA lives up to its southern heritage as a classless enterprise stuck on itself.
