But mis-use or unethical promotion of products, such as standing up lock legged on the machines ( which is a banned pose on training devices ) can not be accounted for.

I am hoping someone sues one of these companies one day. Because until then people who have had bad experiences are left wondering why long term studies show no damage, but it hurt them.
