Of all places....shouldn't Radio Shack have a security camera set up? I would've thought they would, unless someone on the inside (present or past) told them Radio Shack is ripe for the pickin'. Lots of questions here.

And Obama Nation, what an idiot. I hold upper class white Bush and his cronies responsible for an entire war and his ilk for a failing economy, not local white crime. Obama is as disconnected from this crime as I am. But I'm wasting my keyboard on this message.

and here come the racial comments. not like 3 armed white men did not just rob a pnc bank or another white man broke into and robbed an at&t store. Stop with the stereotypes, Crimes like this begin to happen when poverty is evident. Good Ol Bush.

Probably wasn't too much of a challenge... Have you seen your average Radio Shack employee?

This is why we need more cops. The number of crooks continues to grow but the protection does not!

Dear Educationiskey - are you using poverty as an excuse for robbery?

Too bad they didn't do this to the smart aleck's at Radio Shack's Lehigh Shopping Center store, in west Bethlehem. Those snotty and disrespectful clowns could use a good gagging.

this part of the story doesn't seem right. you can never be sure due to the always poor quality of the morning call writers, but did two employees escape and leave the others behind still tied up until police arrived? if that is so this smells of all the employees being involved. why not untie your friends? why leave them there tied up and gagged unless you want to show the police oh my look look what happened to us. the vague description of "black males" is a red flag too.
I hope there is surveillance video in that store, but good money says there isn't.
Perhaps I misread the article. There were only two employees in the store, they were bound and gagged.
You're questioning why they didn't untie themselves?

its not an excuse to make it ok, but it is a cause for its happening. desperate people do desperate things. They'll probably try to sell whatever they stole.

I remember years ago Radio Shack sold fake cameras and decals. I'm not sure if they still do. And yes, some of the details are questionable.

Maybe if they dedicated as much time toward finding a job as they did planning this robbery they wouldn't need to resort to crime. There's no excuse for this. I have been unemployed and flat broke before and I never considered stealing from others.

You are absolutely correct the argument is not if it is ok to commit crime but how to prevent it, Historically the honest people don't commit crimes the dishonest do. Unfortunately bad economic situations cause the less then honest to become dishonest. They should be punished like any other criminal. But one of the best ways to prevent crime is to have a good economy, I have little control over that so I just carry my 1911.

They don't have an excuse, smart guy. It's not Radioshacks fault that they're unemployed. They're gonna sell what they stole for one reason: easy money. But, they can't get their fatasses off a couch to go work at a local BK or something, right? Are you desperate? Do you rob people and sell it on the internet? Why don't you get your sympathetic ass up and find the morons who robbed Radioshack and buy whatever they stole? Maybe they have something you'll like.
