But Robert and BJ keep bellowing that "We should cut the Police budget to build a campground".

Then ALL of our problems with Transients, Junkies, Methheads and drunks will magically go away.

Without either of them lifting a flabby finger, or contributing anything.

I don't see how this could cost that much cash?? Its not the court's fault if the addicts-which are pretty much disabled from addiction don't show up to court or pay their fine--- I bet over 90% of all camping tickets go to warrant.

they bust a perp on misdemeanor drug paraphernalia charge -- victimless -- they plead down and pay a huge fine. courts make money unless their homeless. then they rack up huge credit bills and finally put them in jail for not paying. that costs a lot!

Actually, Robert and his jackassery is still costing the city money. He lost his case, but is doubling down and appealing, even though even he thinks is a waste of time.

Quoting Robert from the linked op-ed piece "Defending this lawsuit has already cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars." He has gone on quite a bit about the money spent, but it's ok if it's for him.

I'm looking forward to the day Robert loses the case...again.

Then the City Attorney will go after him for ALL costs of the Litigation.
