Wait a second....there was a police presence on Chestnut Street this afternoon around 5 and I asked one of the officers what was going on....he said they were looking for someone who was running from the police. I think the reporter got the times wrong because there was NOTHING going on 9:50 as I was out for a walk and it was quiet....

Were the assailants:
Polynesians?
Canadians?
Icelandic?
Africans?
Irish?
Germans?
Italians?
Asians?
Eskimos?

No, the Sentinel won't even print it anymore...

There has been this kind of violence in Watsonville and in Salinas for many, many years. It's amazing to me it didn't arrive here sooner than it has.

WoW...informative, sort of.
Anyway, some lady got her purse snatched right outa her cart at decent grocery store today. All the money was taken but the purse and personal stuff left behind down one of the isles.

I dont feel like such a dork for holden onto my stuff like grandma said to..."Never can be to careful these days." She'd say, even 40 yarn ago.

actually they were on their way out of town when they were stopped, but now they're in town (jail) and will be stuck here for a long time (court, jail time, probation) so they will probably end up living here for a good long time, maybe spawning with others like the 20 yr old hooker that got popped the other day off of lower Ocean st. SC is just a mini L.A. these days and it'll only get worse
