They are open 365 days a year during daylight hours. You must have a permit to ride. The in state fee is $35.00 per calender year. It is well worth it, I have bought a permit for both years and it is GREAT!

We should already have a lifetime pass Plumber. Considering they are using land from "the land" company that seems to be exempt from property taxes and they used OUR TAX money to start-up. Yea, a WV residence should be all you need to ride on those trails. What was the benefits Sophia and the surrounding communities were getting from this trail again? I fail to see how Burning Rock has helped the area.

The have trail for motorcycles only, motorcycles and ATV four wheelers only and they have trails for motorcycles, ATV and side-by-sides. They DO NOT have trails for 4 wheel drive automobiles.

I live beside Burning Rock and I have a couple atvs and a mule. I wouldnt join the trail if I never rode my ATV again.

I know........you were riding these same trails before it was Burning Rock and and you are peeved because now you have to pay to ride them.....right?

it is wrong eveyone in the area had rode on those trails for years and hunted on the property but all beaver land and county is worried about making a dollar i heard they are getting ready to take some more property in the area and do the same thang
