Let the buyer beware, IOW do your homework on who you hire or buy from. Look at all the regulations Wall St. had and still we have another financial crisis. Besides, the cost of government fees get passed on to the home buyer and then taxpayers for the licence people.

If licensing or certification is REQUIRED then a judge, jury, building inspector, prosecutor, etc. could ask for license/certification suspension or revocation if building structures to criticle violations of KY Building Codes. this is lieu of small fines 2-5 thousand dollar fines(most builders could probably pay a small fine but hard to pay money for a suspension or revocation.

a suspension or revocation would mean that...any county REQUIRING Licensing of a builder and suspect builder found guilty of grievous building code violations could not build in any KY county REQUIRING licensing or certification UNTIL sais suspension or REVOCATION was OVERTURNED in court procedings or the suspension or revocation lifted. Just a thought.

... how you spell his name "Hinsen, Henson, Hinson" his name is being spoken. I think I heard his name today during the UK-UNC game. In either case of the way you spell it he is a WILDCAT. Go UK.

I think he may be getting a state wide petition together "Requiring" licensing/ certification for all builders in the state. Go by and see him and tell him why you are for or against licensing requirements.

...all the pissed off Rineyvillians come forward because of "forced" leins on their property because having to go on a sewer tied to misconduct in LaVista Estates Subdivision. Also the pissed off Hardin County Property Taxpaying residents who had their property taxes increased just this past year might chime in there to voice their disapproval "if" Hardin County Judge Executive Harry Berry, tries to use the SURPLUS FUNDS generated from "ALL" Hardin County PROPERTY TAX PAYERS to make up the 5.4 million dollar short fall to complete the sewer project in Rineyville and LaVista Estates.
One reason he might try this is to keep Rineyville Quiet about a SEPTIC-SEWER SCANDAL. Our paid taxes somehow used to reduce the burden on all the victims in Rineyville.

Yes I say then it will have been way overdue requiring "ALL" home builders to be "STATE" certified and licensed to hopefully prevent a builder from encouraging shoddy home construction of any kind with "his" builders licensing and certification subject to "SUSPENSION or REVOCATION."

This all hinges on the Hardin County Sewer Ordinance, BRAC Waste Water Project happening in Rineyville, and victims inside LaVista, and the victims outside Lavista taking a big hit in the pocket, and Judge Berry's attempts to use our recent property tax increases taken out of the Hardin County budget to foot the remainder of the bill 5.4 million because of governmental mistakes and blatent violations.
