That's what happens when you elect a college professor who has never so much as run a hot dog stand to be your leader. What happens next year where there is no stimulus money to cover the public employees salaries, and the taxe base is even lower because there was nothing done to support the private sector? Print more money?

Building roads once stimulated the ecomony back when the infrastructure wasn't there. Repaving existing roads isn't going to do anything. I can't believe the effing morons think that the government can actually spend its way to prosperity. It has never worked and it never will.

Hold on folks, it's about to get REAL bad.

Biggest BULL$HIT story I've heard since January '09. Like they were going to close down schools, I imagine, permanently. Saved or CREATED teaching jobs. How many of these teaching jobs were newly created jobs?
"Officials have said the unprecedented accounting could become standard (BULL$HIT) for government programs in the future, and this week's data release will offer the first indication of how it's working". Figures lie and liars figure. Just who do they think they are kidding? You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not.....

Blatant Chicago thug politics.

The "stimulus" package was nothing more than payback to his union supporters and a down payment on future votes.

All educators want is a two hour delay so they can sleep in and get credit for the school day so they can start their three month vacations started early.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Virgo

Have a think about your health today. How are you shaping up? Are all those mince pies and sausage rolls already taking their toll on your waistline? Is it ages since you last went to the gym? Then this is your chance to start making some improvements. Don't plan anything drastic or unrealistic because you'll soon lose heart. Instead, devise a sensible regime that you can stick to.
