You must be a low life scum of the earth. What you do defines you. I got a good look at your truck and see it nearly everyday so you are not unknown as I am sure you think you are. What goes around comes around. It would have been all the same to you if it had been a child. You did not even put the brake on at all, matter of fact it appeared you went even faster. Bad luck will come your way and you deserve it.

There is such a thing as a responsible driver too. One who hits a person or animal and does not stop is not a responsible person to begin with.
As I said before it would have been all the same if it had been a child, the driver did not care at all.

If you got a good look at the vehicle report them. Or if like me you know where they live report them. They can and will be made to pay your vet bills. I know it happened to me. Good luck to you and I hope your dog is okay.

To the person who mentioned leash laws, we have speed limits also. You must be a cold hearted person to make such a statement. Our pets are part of our families.

Well, I have pets also, but if the dog was in the road, it was the owners fault, and the owner of the dog, can be made to pay the damage to the vehicle, if any was caused.

Thank you. I got a good look at the vehicle plus our security video got it also, so I got a good look at it. It is a shame such cold hearted people live in our world. I could not drive off and leave any accident. I realize accidents do happen but this idiot did not even put the brake on once. I saw it. To me that is a low life person.

I really hope they did have damages. They deserve it. Let them come and collect. I hope they do. It was a hit and run so I doubt we will hear from them. They are no count anyway to be so cruel. You have a right to your opinion and as far as I am concerned you can keep it. Hopefully no one ever hits your dog, if you are a dog owner. I blame it on careless drivers who speed in residential areas with no regard to kids or pets.

If your dog was In the road and not under control your wrong. Would it be OK if your dog was loose and bit someone? That driver pays taxes to use that road . Does your dog? Not the dogs fault but yours. Take responsibility. Dont blame others.

You think whatever you want. As I said before I hope they did have damages. I am a law abiding citizen and pay taxes and for you to say my opinion is wrong, by law, what a idiot you are. Sleep on that. By the way why do you care? Your opinion is wrong. How do you like that? I really do not care what you think. Anyone who is so careless does not need to be on the road. Many children walk on this road and it could have been one of them. The driver still would have went on without so much as putting on the brakes. I guess that would be ok with you too.

I pay taxes and my dog is not vicious he loves everyone and will only bite at my command. If I hit your dog I would at least stop to say I am sorry. I saw the sob and will see them again. Enough said. The driver in question needs a lesson in driving safety since the vehicle was speeding in a residential area. I blame the driver for being so irresponsible that they could not even put the brake on. With drivers like this out there you better look out too. People like this do not respect others at all.

A person such as this would not come forward if they had damages. As a pet owner myself I love my dog just as this person does. It is hard to believe you own a dog with your attitude toward this person.

To mad dog owner, Sometimes you just have to disregard people on here. Some people have nothing better to do than be nosey.

Thank you. I am a firm believer that when someone does wrong it comes back on them. This person will get what is coming to them. Thank you for the IM also. I did not want to post too much on here. Too many crazies.

I have dogs, and I love them like they are children. And, if I ever hit an animal I personally would stop and try to help it, even if I have to run it to my vet at 3 am. In fact, I have done that for animals I came across on the road AFTER someone else hit them and they were still alive. I would hope the same from someone else.

BUT- with that said. THE DOG OWNER IS AT FAULT FOR THE ANIMAL GETTING HIT !! Yes, the ass that hit the dog should have stopped...and because he didn't may he rot in hell. But seriously, the dog should not have been in harms way, especially if the owner was there to witness the hit. Now it would be different if the dog broke the leash or some stranger came by and left a gate open. I've had the UPS guy leave mine open, but luckily my "babies" were inside at the time. Needless to say all hell broke loose on UPS for that dumb ass move.

Sad, sad, sad....anyway you look at it.

I am a dog lover as well. The driver should have stopped. Many reasons why, all good ones. If they do not stop they are not very good people. I hope your dog is okay and the SOB who hit him, maybe he will get a bite one day. Serve him or her right.
People just do not care about other people or animals these days. It is a shame but it is true.
If he passed by my house I know what I would do.

What would you do? Throw your cane? If your dog is in the road its YOUR fault. Plan and simple. If someone got money for vet bills because their dog was hit while in the street, they must have only paid because they felt bad. Good day.

The people on here only told him/her the truth, it was THEIR fault the dog got ran over, NOT the car owner/driver's fault, he did not put that dog on the road. Control YOUR animals people, it is not up to other people to control your pets, grow up and take some responsibility.

You are the dumbazz. First of all speeding was involved and a careless driver. That is ok. Next time he will be caught for the speeding and that is a promise.
