What if Carlo built the Honey Dew Resort and Casino? What then? Would there be slots at the Frog Pond then? This city is going to shit.

Add a drive through liquor/tattoo parlor
a Popeye Chicken
& a Western Union/Welfare Center
and you'd have all the best of Everett in one convenient location!

If the casino goes in the Village section will be inundated with Lolita
Call girls. You think we have a drug problem now just wait, and all the jobs
who knows? A lot of the positions will be for low end wage earners such as
maids, maintenance workers, bus boys, kitchen help etc. Will this bring
more third world workers to the city? I would think that top level positions
will be filled with Wynn's people. Just think of phase one, Digging out all
the poisons that sit in that land fill. That type of construction can not
just be capped off and built over.
Wondering how many trips Carlo has got from Wynn to go to Vegas
for discussions?

I caught the news and out of fatso's mouth is if the Casino is built and the layout they showed that all of Everett People would be able to walk to the casino from all main streets in Everett. He is a F'n looney bin. How do you walk to the casino built there is it by the rotary in Everett because its the only way I know. So he wants you to walk through that dangerous rotary with possibly getting hit by a car/vehicle of your choice. Then all the muggings cause all the muggers know you got money and will be going to the casino to gamble. He is talking out of his ass and needs to shut up about this Casino he wants for himself and knows nothing of what it will bring to Everett besides the $$$$$$$$ in his fat brain.

Please look at all the bad it will bring and not just the money it will bring.

Remember if its built it will be bad for Everett and any of us decent Everett citizens/tax payers left in the shit hole of a city.

Carlo is a big fat looser that does not care about our city. He is using our city as a stepping stone for his fat ass. He is selling out and going to work for the lottery commission or the casino he is going to stuff down our throat! Think about it.... He already hired all his friends that don't deserve this city jobs. In my eyes he is just a man looking to better himself.... Not our city!

Speaking of the casino issue: Got a robo call tonight from Carlo ... There is a forum at the Connolly Center ? tomorrow evening re: casino...Count me out please...The meeting will be all hype about the wonders of a casino on beautiful lower Broadway - ummm anyone driven that road lately? I'm sure from the new hotel/casino you'll be able to get a first hand view of the new wind turbine, the LNG tanker, the new Honda dealership and the new Boston Materials handing building...Yep sounds great ...

I'm still undecided - mainly because of the impact of traffic at all hours of the day and night (casinos don't close you know)....

We got the glowing letter today from SW - all about how he grew up in Revere, used to go to Revere Beach (you know, making small talk to get all nice and friendly with everybody in the area).....

Does he have a timeline for finishing the Alford St. Bridge??, does he know how to navigate (safely) Wellington Circle, Santilli Circle ... Probably not as I'm sure with his mola he has his own private jet to get around in.

Guess it won't matter to this family if he wins (pun there folks) or loses - we going to be selling out beloved home - been here all our lives but a drive through Glendale Square and/or Everett Square makes the deciding what to do easy....I used to love Everett but do not love what it has become....time to move on....

Unfortunately the bridge is in Boston and under Massdot. Can't see Boston mayor doing anything to speed it up since he wants casino at Suffolk Downs. As to the rotaries, oh well that's always been an issue even before we had all this traffic. People don't know how to use rotaries and today people just care about themselves.

I was very amused at how nice he made the property look. Talk about photoshopping.

Com on, no need to photoshop. This is a digital rendering not a photo of any place in existance. This is how the first step in any development is created. It shows how they envision the property to look.

If this will be ANYTHING like the Wynn hotel and other Las Vegas Wynn properties, I'm all for it. Those properties are spectacular, classy and make Foxwoods look like the slums. Everett has nothing to lose and everything to gain. We WOULD be crazy to not want it.

Yes, Foxwoods is the slums but Everett is going to be too. Wait and see what migrates here. Every illegal under the sun not to mention tutes and other riff raff that will get bused here. Too bad Wynn didn't bid on Wonderland as a place for a fancy slot parlor Its on the train line, state police nearby, and has the beach. I thought Wynn was from Revere? The location in Everett is too small of an area to build something as spectacular as the casino he is proposing.

Ya so build it in Revere and let them get all the benefits. In case you haven't noticed, Everett is already full of riff raff. Most of the daily visitors to Foxwoods are elderly who are bussed in. Everett really has nothing to lose. Look what's there now? Give me a break! I think it will be great. I've been to the Wynn properties in Vegas and they are top notch.

I realize that but the rendering shows the surrounding area to be gorgeous. Where's the windmill, ugly buildings and run down houses? That area is a slum.
