Police: Mom left kids in car while tanning

Police in Connecticut say a 28-year-old mother is charged with leaving her two young children in her car in freezing temperatures while she went tanning in a salon.

and I think the stripper thing is hysterical..I have a cousin named Candy and she's an "exotic" dancer, the family doesn't dare say "stripper", but when I was told about it I was like "of course she is her name is Candy what else is she going to do with her life !" I've never heard of a CEO or anything named Candy.

We joke about this but I reall think we should go back to punishments that are really punishments and reflective of the acts of criminality. I realize this likely a violation of the 'cruel and unusual' clause but it would be very satisfying to see this idiot mother locked in a cold storage room at 28 degrees, without a jacket, for about a half an hour. We could watch her emerge and all have a good laugh. An no having her wrapped in warmed towels, she just gets to shuffle off to her car and be driven a way.
