I for one didn't know about this case until i stumbled on it on FB but it is very CLEAR that this POS is guilty cause its more than resonable that if you did not hurt this child why would you even wait seconds minutes to get help... i would just like to thank everyone who didnt contest robert being in a minimun security camp for his prison bid. one call from the family protesting and he would have been behind the wall and not gotten all those work credits that got him home 3 years early.and if he would have gotten parole (god forbid} he would be in the system until 2014. his friends and family are so glad to have him home free and clear.

what alot of people dont know is that nick chavez was found to guilty of neglecting nikolas in 2004. specifically by becoming intoxicated while watching his child while the mother was hours away at work. it is court documented that mr. chavez threatened to kill himself while alone with his child. when nicole was able to get someone over there to help, nick was found passed out on the floor and nikolas was crying, covered in food caked to his body and wearing a soiled diaper. Although this case was made the example because of the threat of suicide, there were numerous times nicole had to deal with nick getting drunk and passing out while alone with nikolas. because this neglect was attibuted to nikolas' developmental delays, all of this is court documented. also documented is the fact that nick would go months without visiting his son and only saw approx 7 times in the last year and a half of nikolas'life. this man never paid child support for his son and owed five thousand dollars in back support. his anger is just a mask for being such a terrible father

I knew the accused. We were friends. I discovered things about him that were disturbing long before this incident. I did not continue our friendship because I did not like his temper and disturbing views. When Nickolas died, I knew immediately that he had something to do with it. I didn't want to believe it, but deep down I knew. there was a reason that this child was terrified of him. there was a reason why the child's mother put a tape recorder under Nikolas's bed. She knew something was wrong too. It was just too late. too late for a beautiful innocent child. I believe he will hurt someone again in his lifetime.
I also am well aware of the fact that your ex Melissa has a restraining order on you because of your mental instability and rage fuelled temper! That is documented as well! Try to paint yourself an angel and you just come off looking more and more like the lying sociopath-etic you truly are!

sorry people, but mr knutsen was charged and acquitted of aggravated manslaughter.he was charged with causing the childs death by inflicting injury and found not guilty not once but twice by a jury of his peers. double jeopady protects citizens from being prosecuted again for the same and listen carefully similar charges. any crime stemming from the previous indictment cannot be revisted. he was not charged only with child endagerment,but was only found guilty of that. in this case the jury had the option to way three differant charges with differant mens rea for each count. he was charged with aggravated manslaughter, manslaughter and endangerment for inflicting the blows. the jury only took 4 1/2 hours to acquitt and say they did not believe mr knutsen inflicted any injury to the child what so ever. they did however find that he waited to long (10 minutes) to call 911. murder is the same charge as aggravated manslaughter just with differant mens rea so he cannot be retried for murder simply because the state doesnt like the outcome of the verdict. the state only gets one bite of the apple folks. end of story
